    Chichester Rugby Football Club Oaklands Pavilion | Wellington Road | Chichester | West Sussex | PO19 6BB tel: 01243 779820 web: www.chichesterrfc.co.uk CRFC Beach Rugby Festival 2017 Chichester Rugby Football Club, in partnership with Chichester College, Sussex RFU and West Wittering Estate, are holding a beach rugby tournament in West Sussex. It will take place on Saturday 17th June 2017, at the beautiful West Wittering beach. The tournament will be an open festival from 13 years and upwards, group and teams will be asked to ensure they have a mix between males and females. With the recent sad death of Mary Phillips, one of Chichester RFC’s greatest members, supporters and helpers, the theme for this year’s festival is “Something About Mary”. We will be joined by the Phillips family who will be entering two teams for the festival. Beneficiaries from this year’s event will be the following charities who supported Mary and the family so wonderfully: • Love your Hospital (Stroke Unit, Lavant Ward, St Richard’s Hospital) • Brain Tumour Research Competition: Open to maximum of 32 teams, ideally we would like teams to be mixed squads. It is a touch rugby competition, so no contact! Teams will be made up of 5 players and 2 reserves. Cost £35 per team. The name of the organization is Los Angeles Rebellion Rugby Football Club (hereinafter referred to as the “Rebellion”). The mission of the Rebellion is to promote equality and inclusivity through the sport of rugby. ARTICLE II: PURPOSE Section 1. The Rebellion is to be operated exclusively for non-profit and charitable purposes. Section 2. The purposes of the Rebellion shall be: 1. To field a Division III or IV men’s rugby team (or teams) to compete in: a. the Southern California Rugby Football Union (SCRFU), and b. the International Gay Rugby (IGR) 2. To create an inclusive athletic training environment for all those interested in training with the club, regardless of sexual identity, age, ethnicity, body type, ability level or past experience; 3. To promote the positive physical, emotional and social health of our members; 4. To promote physical education, good sportsmanship and the rules and traditions of rugby to a broader community, along with the importance of equality and inclusivity.     VADISTANBUL SPORTSFEST Vadistanbul Sports Fest acquainted different sports branches with Vadistanbul visitors throughout 3 weekends. Vadistanbul Sports Fest started with the Istanbul Cup 2018 European Beach Soccer Championship bringing the most important beach soccer teams of Europe together. Valencia from Spain, Chelsea from England, Marseille from France and Türkiye All Stars from Turkey held a competition against each other at the sand field arranged carrying 550 ton sand in Vadistanbul. According to the results of the championship which continued 3 days, Chelsea was crowned champion taking 6 points and became the greatest of the Istanbul Cup 2018. The tournament was broadcast live through the Aspor channel could be watched by the football lovers on the TV. Vadistanbul continued to host the new championships in the 2nd week of the Sports Fest. The championship of beach Rugby Leauge which is one of the most rough games of the world and the beach volleyball which is one of the most aesthetic sports of the world were realized with participation of the most successful women and men teams of Turkey. The champions of Istanbul Beach Cup 2018 All Stars Rugby Championship and 2018 Turkish Volleyball Federation Beach Volleyball Turkey Series Pro Beach Tour Vadistanbul Stage where a pitched battle was experienced from time to time and easy scores were achieved from time to time were determined at the end of about 50 matches which continued two days. 4 men and 4 women Rugby Leauge teams consisting of 96 Rugby Leauge players held a competition in the Rugby Leauge for a period of two days.
