The Steiger brothers, authors and researchers of paranormal activity, were filming several productions at the hotel. Sherry (one of them) was explaining the story of the most famous place mirror, and while they were standing there, a gentleman pulled back as if he had pushed and said, ‘Who do you think you are?`. Brad asked the man what happened; and he said that the blonde lady came running as if it were the owner of Hollywood and made him aside. PHOTOS BACHERLOR´S GROVE CEMETERY • It is rumoured that this is one of the favourite places for gangsters to dump the dead bodies. Bacherlor´s Grove is an old and decaying cemetery that has been the scene of countless stories of ghosts, spirits and devil worship. Several tombstones in the cemetery seem to move at will, and many claim that the spirits of the dead often materalize and walk at night. • A white lady is a ghost that has been seen in this cemetery. Her legends are found around the world too. pHOTOS Robert the doll The island art and historical museum is not haunted but contains shocking artifacts from the history of Key West in the form of a large doll that many claim is possessed. It was given to the painter Gene Otto in 1900, and he soon took a deadly fear of it, the young man said that the doll often threatened and woke him up at night, tossing the furniture. The child’s parents swear that he saw the doll in motion, and neighbours often saw Robert in front of the windows when the family was out. photos House lalaurie • At the heart of the French Quarter, it is a mansion in the 1800s belonged to Luis Lalaurie doctor and his wife Delphine. The woman is responsible for the murder of a 12 year old. It was rumored that the couple threatened their slaves with a revenge. There were confirmed when one night there was a fire, and when firefighters down the door of the slave quarters, they were chained to the wall in a kind of detention. This still stands, and ghosts have been seen, included the spirits of Delphine and the slave girl murdered. PHOTOS Shanghai tunnels • Located – On the coast of Portland. • During the 1800s, innocent men and women that were in bars or hotels were forced to work as slaves. The city was known for this practice through a series of labyrinthine underground tunnels that run under its streets,which were used by Shanghaiiers as a sure way to capture and transfer victims to the port without being seen. • Actually the tunnels are said to be haunted by ghosts of people abducted many of which were never seen or heard. PHOTOS Lunatic asylum in athens • Athens is one of the most famous in the form of Asylum ran from 1874 to 1993. • It had many violent patients, and is known for being the site of hundreds of lobotomies. Because of this, it has been the focus of numerous ghost stories, most of which are kept alive by students of the university, which now owns asylum. The most famous apparitions is that of Margaret, a deaf-mute patient who escaped from his room, she accidentally caught in an abandoned room, and eventually died. The stain that was left on the floor of the room can be seen today. photos The Slender man • He has extremely long, slender arms and legs and also black tentacles that protude from his back. He’s described as wearing a black suit, and introduces fear. • His victims are hypnotized and utterly helpless to stop themselves from walking into them. He takes them to an unknown location where nobody deduced a definite conclusion. • His face is pale and looks different for each person. • He can be found in sections of woods, in front of the windows, and also he has been seen with large groups of children. photos video The mines of Paris • Deep underneath Paris lies the Mines of Paris, a network of dark, abandoned mines. Due to over population, the government created catacombs as a place to store human bodies in a part of them. • The governmet went ahead and decorated the area with humans remains as well. Skulls are stacked against each other on the walls with other bones around them. • Today, the catacombs are a home to, as legends claim, ghosts and monsters. photos.
