MyHealthChecked FAQs How do I take the test? Please refer to the Instructions For Use (IFU) included within the sample box provided. In summary, ensure you have activated your test online. Then ensure all of the components in the sample box are included as illustrated on the IFU. It is then important to complete the required details as requested on the biohazard sample bag and tube of PrimeStore® MTM inactivation media which is Date of Birth and date and time of nasal sample collection. Then wash your hands, clear your nostrils and you are then ready to take the nasal sample. The tip of the swab provided with the kit should be gently inserted into one nostril until you feel gentle resistance. Hold the shaft of the swab and rotate 5 times for approximately 10 seconds, ensuring the tip of the swab is always in contact with the nasal wall. Repeat for the other nostril. The nasal swab should be sent to the lab in the sample collection tube. Please place the swab tip down (the tip is the part of the swab that you put first into your nostril) and then screw the tube tightly shut and shake the tube for 3-5 seconds. How do I check the results and/or the status of my test? You will receive an email from MyHealthChecked with a link to view your results online and download a Fit to Fly certificate within 24-36 hours from lab receipt if the result is negative. You will be able to access your certificate if your result is negative whether you are using the test for Fit to Fly or General use. What does the test show? Negative result- You will receive a certificate for Fit to Fly online. Negative results should not be used as the sole basis to diagnose SARS-CoV-2: clinical correlation and other diagnostic information is necessary to determine patient infection status. Also please continue to follow government guidelines around social distancing, washing hands and covering your face to keep others safe - see www.gov.uk/coronavirus Positive result-A positive result means you have COVID-19. You should follow the up-to-date guidelines on what you should do next on the UK Government website - www.gov.uk/coronavirus Inconclusive result-This means Myhealthchecked have not been able to confirm your test result for SARS CoV-2 and so it is inconclusive. The sample swab you have provided will be tested and a new result will then be issued to you within the next few days. Do MyHealthChecked share my results or data with any third party? All data is completely anonymised to ensure that your privacy is maintained throughout the process. MyHealthChecked will not share your information with any third party. All samples are disposed of within 10 days, following analysis and report of the results to you. Please note that any results from the test will be shared with Public Health England and added to the National Database. Is the MyHealthChecked test CE marked? Yes, the MyHealthChecked test is fully UKCA and CE marked in accordance with UK and EU medical device legislation. Is this test suitable for customers in Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands? This test is not suitable for customers in Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands due to logistical issues. Please do not order this test if you are based in Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands as the sample will not be accepted. Who should I contact if I have a query? If you have any questions - you can talk to one of MyHealthChecked's healthcare professionals - by emailing [email protected] General FAQs What are the differences between at home and in store testing? The At-Home Test Kits are completed by yourself in the comfort of your own home and is a swab test. The In-Store PCR COVID-19 service is completed by a member of staff and is a swab test. The Rapid Antigen Testing Service is a nasal swab antigen test to check for a current COVID-19 (coronavirus) infection. Both the in-store PCR COVID-19 test and at home test kit are PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) tests. What’s the difference between this test and the 30-minute lateral flow test I can get locally for free? The main differences are the levels of accuracy between a lateral flow test and a PCR test, and that the government-supplied free tests don’t provide you with the certification you need for travel (when ordering fit to fly). Recommendation is for lateral flow device testing to be undertaken regularly e.g. twice. Does there need to be a gap between a vaccine and taking the test? No, someone who has received a COVID-19 vaccination does not need to wait before taking this type of test. The result of the test is unaffected by a person’s vaccination status. The analysis of the sample collected using the At-home COVID-19 test kit will not be influenced by someone receiving a vaccine. If a test provides a positive result it means that specific genomic material from the virus itself has been detected. This will only occur when a patient has a current infection from SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. • Liverpool Development Update
LIVERPOOL DEVELOPMENT UPDATE November 2016 Welcome Welcome to the latest edition of Liverpool Development Update. When I became Mayor of the city in 2012, I said that Liverpool’s best days were ahead of it. If you consider the levels of investment being seen across the city today in 2016, my prediction is now ringing true. Since the start of 2012, we have seen over £3.8 billion worth of investment which has brought new businesses, new homes, new schools, and new and improved community and health facilities to Liverpool. We have seen the creation of nearly 15,000 job spaces, many of which will be filled with new jobs to the city. We have also created thousands more construction jobs. There is more good news. Several major new schemes are now in delivery mode. I am pleased to see rapid progress on Derwent’s Liverpool Shopping Park at Edge Lane, whilst Project Jennifer is now well underway with construction about to commence on its new Sainsburys and B&M stores. In addition, Neptune Developments have started work on the Lime Street Gateway project, and I can also report that work is underway on the first phase of the Welsh Streets scheme that will now see many of the traditional terraces converted to larger family homes. Meanwhile, some of the new schemes have started under the Strategic Housing Delivery Partnership which will build a further 1,500 new homes and refurbish another 1,000 existing ones. Plans for new schemes continue to be announced. The Knowledge Quarter is to be expanded with a new £1billion campus specialising in FRONT COVER: research establishments, whilst we are now also seeking to expand the Commercial Office District with new Grade A office space at Pall Mall which this city so vitally needs.
