Massimo Morgia Ricominciamo a Giocare a Pallone 2 Ricominciamo a Giocare a Pallone Introduzione L’estate è sicuramente la stagione che preferisco: amo il sole e il mare è un richiamo a cui mai saprei rinunciare. Del mare apprezzo tutto, mi piace quando è azzurro come il cielo e mi emoziona vederlo anche quando è in tempesta. Mi piace contemplarlo e qualche volta sfidarlo, ed è lì che soprattutto posso rilassarmi con il mio hobby preferi- to, la pesca. Non importa se armato di canna o di pinne e fucile, sopra o sotto l’acqua, mi sento in pace con me stesso e con il mondo. Dell’inverno al contrario non apprezzo nulla, pioggia e freddo mi incupiscono e le giornate corte mi rattristano. La neve è bella solo a vederla in cartolina, però c’è il Natale: quei pochi giorni che lo precedono sono molto belli e mi mettono buon umore ed allegria. Vedere gente indaffarata e contenta nello scegliere i regali, respirare un po’ “quel sentirsi più buoni”, riaccende la speranza di un mondo migliore. Ritorniamo tutti un po’ bambini, più disponibili e generosi, più attenti ai valori importanti e soprattutto più vicini alle persone care, che siano di famiglia o semplici amici. Scegliere un pensiero da donare mi rende felice più che riceverlo, ma al contempo mi sento ansioso e un tantino nervoso, la paura è quella di essere banale e scontato. Se poi il regalo da scegliere è per quelle persone che gravitano intorno al mio lavoro (giocatori ,collaboratori , dirigenti, giornalisti e tifosi) diventa ancora più impegnativo e gravoso sia per questioni puramente economiche, come al solito per i ricchi è tutto più semplice, che per le diversità dei gusti, accontentare tutti non è semplice. -

Box 1346 Ann Arbor, Ml 48106-1346 2 ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to investigate whether the Reagan administration was influenced by ‘New Right’ ideas. Foreign policy issues were chosen as test cases because the presidency has more power in this area which is why it could promote an aggressive stance toward the United Nations and encourage withdrawal from UNESCO with little impunity. Chapter 1 deals with American society after 1945. It shows how the ground was set for the rise of Reagan and the New Right as America moved from a strong affinity with New Deal liberalism to a new form of conservatism, which the New Right and Reagan epitomised. Chapter 2 analyses the New Right as a coalition of three distinctive groups: anti-liberals, New Christian Right, and neoconservatives. -

Livro de Atas do III COBCIBER The social and technological impact of tablets in the journalism field: a comparative analysis of communicative and business strategies of the newspapers on iPad Elena Valentini Sapienza, University of Rome Department of Communication and Social Research [email protected] Abstract The paper aims at presenting how the newspapers are coping with the challenges offered by iPad and tablets, and it deals with the changes related to the new mobile devices in the information system. The attention is focused on the Italian journalism, compared to the Portuguese one. The paper presents a research based on the analysis of all apps for iPad of the Italian daily newspapers, in order to study the main features of the new digital formats with respect to properties related to four thematic areas (multimediality, hypertextuality, social media models, and business strategies). The Italian newspaper apps are compared with the main Portuguese ones with respect to the same characteristics, with a communicative and social perspective, focusing on the opportunities and the limits of tablets in the editorial and information system. The comparison shows that all the Italian newspapers offer pdf edition on iPad, although with different levels of innovation. The Portuguese context is different for two main reasons: on one hand the strategies of the publishers are more variegate and some of them don’t offer the pdf release on the other hand a website oriented model is more common. The innovation is weak in both of them, even if there are efforts to take advantage of the new media opportunities. -

Gianni Merlo President, International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Gianni Merlo is President of AIPS (Association International de la Press Sportive) President since May 2005 with around 156 associated member nations. Born in 1947 in Vigevano of Italy, Merlo was unanimously re-elected for the latest 4-year office term as AIPS President in 2013 during the AIPS Congress held on 17 April 2013 at Moldova SOCHI. The latest term became the third for Merlo. The 68th AIPS Congress in Marrakech, a major city in the northwest African nation of Morocco, had marked a milestone - the end of Togay Bayatli's 12-year presidential reign and the election of his successor Gianni Merlo. Merlo began his journalistic career in 1967 with the magazine "Atletica Leggera", founded by his father Dante, and then he became a contributor to newspapers including "Il Giorno", "La Gazzetta del Popolo" and the "Corriere dello Sport-Stadio". In 1972 he held the office of television commentator assistant; first for the Italian Swiss television and then for the RAI, the national Italian network. In 1974 he was employed by Italy's leading daily sports newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport" where he held the office of head of the athletics, winter sports and Olympic departments. He has been a correspondent at 20 Olympic Games: 10 in winter, Innsbruck 1976, Lake Placid 1980, Sarajevo 1984, Calgary 1988, Albertville 1992, Lillehammer 1994, Nagano 1998, Salt Lake City 2002 , Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010 and 10 in Summer , Munich 1972, Moscow 1980, Los Angeles 1984, Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. -

Furto del primo scudetto nel 1910 (Pro Vercelli costretta dall'Inter a giocare coi bambini, in un ineguagliato esempio di totale mancanza di sportività). Nel 1910 successe che la Federazione (casualmente...) scelse, in prima istanza, una data per la finale scudetto Pro Vercelli-Inter. Guarda caso in quella data tutta la squadra titolare della Pro Vercelli era già impegnata con la Nazionale Militare. La Pro Vercelli chiese quindi ovviamente lo spostamento della finale scudetto. La Federazione rispose che a loro andava bene se anche l'Inter avesse accettato. L'Inter, scandalosamente, RISPOSE DI NO e la Federazione non esitò a mantenere la data stabilita, del tutto inadeguata. La Pro Vercelli, giustamente indignata per questo gesto vergognoso, mandò in campo la 4^ squadra (i bambini di 11 anni!!!!). L'Inter vinse la partita 10-3 (riuscendo però a prendere 3 gol dai bambini!!) e vinse in questo modo il suo primo scudetto. Tra il primo e l'ultimo cambiano i metodi, non cambiano le furbate. 2. Salvezza(A TAVOLINO) comprata nel 1922, dopo una retrocessione sul campo; Nel 1922 l'Inter arriva ultima, meno punti di tutti, meno gol fatti e più gol subiti. A fine campionato si decide che invece di far salire le squadre che ne hanno diritto bisogna fare i play-out. Non basta. All'Inter viene data come avversario l'Alta Italia, squadra però già fallita da settimane, per cui vince gli scontri diretti a tavolino! 3. 1961 SCARSA SPORTIVITA’ Nel 1961 l’Inter protesta perchè la partita Juve-Inter viene fatta ripetere anzichè essere assegnata all’Inter a tavolino per sfondamento delle recinzioni del pubblico che stava troppo stretto e si era portato a bordo campo. -

Navy Force Structure and Shipbuilding Plans: Background and Issues for Congress September 16, 2021 Congressional Research Service https://crsreports.congress.gov RL32665 Navy Force Structure and Shipbuilding Plans: Background and Issues for Congress Summary The current and planned size and composition of the Navy, the annual rate of Navy ship procurement, the prospective affordability of the Navy’s shipbuilding plans, and the capacity of the U.S. shipbuilding industry to execute the Navy’s shipbuilding plans have been oversight matters for the congressional defense committees for many years. In December 2016, the Navy released a force-structure goal that calls for achieving and maintaining a fleet of 355 ships of certain types and numbers. The 355-ship goal was made U.S. policy by Section 1025 of the FY2018 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 2810/P.L. 115- 91 of December 12, 2017). The Navy and the Department of Defense (DOD) have been working since 2019 to develop a successor for the 355-ship force-level goal. The new goal is expected to introduce a new, more distributed fleet architecture featuring a smaller proportion of larger ships, a larger proportion of smaller ships, and a new third tier of large unmanned vehicles (UVs). On June 17, 2021, the Navy released a long-range Navy shipbuilding document that presents the Biden Administration’s emerging successor to the 355-ship force-level goal. The document calls for a Navy with a more distributed fleet architecture, including 321 to 372 manned ships and 77 to 140 large UVs. A September 2021 Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report estimates that the fleet envisioned in the document would cost an average of between $25.3 billion and $32.7 billion per year in constant FY2021 dollars to procure. -
