MYSTERIES BRITISH SERIES

Lord Peter Wimsey Sayers, Dorothy L.

Dorothy L. Sayers (1893-1957), British author and essayist, is best known today for her detective stories featuring the English aristocrat and amateur sleuth Wimsey. The stories involving Lord Peter and his faithful manservant Bunter are set in the period between the two World wars and are rich in the social details of that time. A number of them have been dramatized for television and are perennial favorites on the BBC and PBS networks.

All the books are available from the New Bern-Craven County Public Library, with the exception of Hangman’s Holiday which is available, on request, from the Carteret County Public Library.
