SUMMARY The “Our World Through English” Workbook Nº2 is the result of an investigative work carried out for the undergraduates students of the English Career, it is a Didactic Guide addressed to the students of the Ninth Year of Basic Education, specially for the Public High School. And designed to collaborate with the teaching learning process, to enhance the English Language learning of the students that do not have basis for the correct development of this subject at the beginning of the general basic education. It has been designed with the objective of supporting the students to learn the English Language in an interactive way through photos, pictures and clues, squares which will help the students to be motivated while they are learning and it is easy to teach. The “OWTE” Workbook Nº2 contains fifteen units that can be studied during the school year, each unit is distributed as well as in the Student Book “OWTE” Nº2. Each unit has from six to eight tasks, the tasks include the main contents and show enough activities to practice English step by step all this according to the student’s age. The main methods used on it are: the Natural Approach, the Communicative Language Teaching with interactive dialogues or texts to teach the students to communicate with the real life situations or communications and we use short expressions that can be managed according to the topic, the Task Based Language Teaching also has been used since it is necessary to use the task as the core unit of planning and instruction in Language Teaching to get good scores. Finally the workbook contains some activities that help students to be updated in their knowledge. To increase the learning of Foreign Language. Since our investigation is an important work, that it must be applied and carried out, so that way the students will improve the quality of Education. 2 RESUMEN El libro de trabajo “nuestro mundo a través del Inglés” N° 2 es el resultado de un trabajo investigativo llevado a cabo por los estudiantes de la Carrera de inglés, es una Guía Didáctica dirigida a los estudiantes del Noveno Año de Educación Básica, especialmente para los colegios Públicos. Y diseñado para colaborar con el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, para reforzar el aprendizaje del Idioma inglés en los estudiantes que no tienen las bases para el desarrollo correcto de esta asignatura al inicio de la educación general básica. Se ha diseñado con el objetivo de apoyar a los estudiantes para aprender el Idioma inglés de una manera interactiva a través de las fotografías, cuadros y pistas, cuadrados que ayudarán a los estudiantes a ser motivados mientras ellos están aprendiendo de una manera más fácil. El libro de trabajo "OWTE" Nº2 contiene quince unidades que pueden estudiarse durante el año escolar, cada unidad es distribuida así como en el Libro del Estudiante "OWTE" Nº2. Cada unidad tiene de seis a ocho tareas, las tareas incluyen los temas principales y muestran una gran cantidad de actividades para practicar el inglés paso a paso todo esto según la edad del estudiante. Los métodos principales usados en él son: el Acercamiento Natural, el Idioma Comunicativo que Enseña con diálogos interactivos o textos para enseñarles a los estudiantes a comunicar con las situaciones reales de la vida y con las expresiones cortas que pueden manejarse según el tema, la Tarea Basada en la Enseñanza del Idioma que también es usada y necesaria, utilizar la tarea como la unidad del centro de planear y presentar el Idioma que se enseña para conseguir buenos resultados. Finalmente el libro de trabajo contiene algunas actividades que ayudan a los estudiantes ser eficientes en su conocimiento. Para aumentar el aprendizaje del Idioma Extranjero. Ya que nuestra investigación es un trabajo importante que debe aplicarse y debe llevarse a cabo, para que de esta manera los estudiantes mejoren la calidad de Educación 3 c. INTRODUCTION Nowadays towards the 21stcentury results essential to learn English because it has become the tool that allows the communication with people from other countries, and cultures of the “global” world. Its expansion supposes one of the most important facts through the human kind history adopting this tongue as the predominant. Since it constitutes a main tool in the relationships between most of the countries of the world specially it is necessary and fundamental for the development of the Latin- American countries as much as in the economic and social fields. Through different research works that as students have been done during the years of each module to the public high school, as students could notice the low knowledge level of the students because of the lack of a didactic guide that supports the Teaching Learning Process of the English Language. For that reason as students decided to design and elaborate a student´s workbook to help in the teachers and students necessities to facilitate the development of the Teaching Learning Process of the English Language. So that they can get a better motivation and good results in the learning of this language. Therefore, the investigation group has completed A STUDENT’S WORKBOOK FOR THE NINTH YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION, with the purpose to help to the public high school. Our World Through English workbook N°2 has fifteen units; each unit is characterized by a theme of enough interest for the students with interactive easy activities with the 4 goal to improve the foreign language. Moreover it was designed according to their knowledge’s level. Every unit contains from six to eight tasks to practice the knowledge of the contents acquired of the main book topics. The workbook’s activities have been designed and illustrated with interesting drawings that motivate them to learn the English Language and it puts more dedication in the reading and writing skills besides grammar and vocabulary through easy funny activities. Moreover the topics are relevant to the real life for that reason we considered that they must learn about (review book N ° 1, famous people, water, diseases & treatment, let’s have a party, English in Ecuador, food & health, people of Ecuador, legends of Ecuador, music, the environment, tourism, neighboring countries, fashion) all these topics were developed with the objective that they learn new vocabulary and they know the grammar rules, which are very important and efficient to develop a better understanding of the English language. In conclusion it was very important to design and elaborate this workbook since through it as students feel satisfied to contribute with the education doubtless because as researchers are offering a new material that will help students to improve the Teaching Learning Process in the public high school and surely that our student’s workbook enhance their interest to learn this language. 5 METHODOLOGY Our World Through English student’s workbook N°2 has been based on two methods which are the update tendency to teach a second language according to the use of their techniques.

CI: 0102444411 Cuenca – Ecuador 2017 UNIVERSIDAD DE CUENCA RESUMEN El presente trabajo está enfocado en el proceso de transcripción de piano a guitarra, efectuando un análisis armónico, melódico y estructural, obteniendo un trabajo técnico en donde se respete en lo posible todo lo referente a: estructura, armonía, ritmo, movimientos contrapuntísticos, matices y formas de ejecución propias, es decir, que el resultado de la obra en guitarra no se aleje demasiado de la versión original, pero que genere un trabajo vinculado a la técnica empleada en la guitarra y que se pueda utilizar como material de estudio para alumnos de nivel intermedio. Por otro lado, es necesario conocer la historia del pasillo Ecuatoriano, aquellos aspectos más importantes como el lugar de donde procedió el género, su llegada al Ecuador y cómo fue que se estableció y logró convertirse en un símbolo musical característico de nuestro país. Cabe recalcar que con la creación del Conservatorio de Música de Quito se logró formar a través de los años ha grandes maestros dedicados al estudio y difusión del pasillo como género característico del Ecuador. La evolución de la guitarra está marcada a través del tiempo por varios instrumentos semejantes como la cítara, el laúd, la mandolina, etc. hasta finalmente el año 1760, cuando Fray Miguel García, conocido como el padre Basilio presento por vez primera una guitarra de seis cuerdas.
