Coppin State is the last team to beat Hampton in the Convocation Center (69-66 in overtime last season), and the last MEAC team to beat Hampton. In David Six’s first three years as head coach, the Lady Pirates have won three straight MEAC Tour- nament championships —- as well as the last two MEAC regular-season titles. This marks the first time the Lady Pirates have won three straight MEAC titles; they won back-to-0back titles in 2002-03 and 2003-04, and Hampton is the first MEAC school since Howard (1994-96 to win three straight tournament titles. Overall Record 13-5 Coppin State, in its 14th season under head coach Derek Brown, return MEAC Record 4-0 three starters and were picked to finish third in the MEAC this season.
