The SecoPure combines two complementary devices to ensure perfect air quality in all situations: a dehumidifier and a system of air disinfection.

When moisture prevails, mildew and fungus invade everything. The result of germs, spores and bacteria suspensions in the air. These micro-organisms make the air polluted and are then introduced into our lungs through our respiration.

The SecoPure acts on four fronts simultaneously : 1 – It removes moisture from the air and consequently limits the development of micro-organisms. 2 – It filters dust in the air. It removes bad odors. 3 – It removes odors, to make the atmosphere more enjoyable. 4 – It disinfects the air by destroying microorganisms.

How does the dehumidifier work?

The Ti02 operates on the basis of a currency system. A fan blows ambient air and on the evaporator. The temperature of the air is cooled and the condensed humidity flows into the water tank. The dry air then passes to the condenser where it is heated before being re-introduced into the room. After passing through the dehumidifier, the air temperature has increased by about 5°C.

What is titanium dioxide photocatalysis (TiO2) and UV lamp?

Photocatalysis is a natural process that occurs on the surface of a catalyst by the intervention of a UV radiation. The system consists of a fan, a filter dust, a carbon filter, an ultraviolet lamp and a plate of titanium dioxide catalyst. In contact with the light, the catalyst becomes a powerful oxidant which destroys odors, organic components (allergens and pollens), residues chemical and atmospheric components such as nitrogen oxides. The catalyst also destroys bacterias.

The particulate pollutants are adsorbed on the surface of the catalyst to be oxidized. This process causes the

breaking of chemical bonds, which degrade to H2O and

CO2.

The photocatalytic air purifier and UV lamp is a natural phenomenon, without chemical action which makes healthier habitat.
