• Environmental problems in the Ci Tanduy watershed require comprehensive problem solving solutions. • The level of river water pollution indicates that the physical quality of the waters of the Ci Tanduy watershed is getting worse. ECOVILLAGE is a village / village with an environmental culture, where the community is able to manage their environment according to sustainability principles including conservation, utilization and environmental restoration.

Geographical thinking requires intellectual knowledge of space. Knowledge of space consists of the recognition and elaboration of the relationships between spatial concepts, the advanced associations that derive from these concepts, and the formal relations of association into theory and generalization • Ecoliteracy in ecological competence means understanding the principles of natural ecological community organization and then being able to structure human communities according to the same principles, especially in terms of studying communities both inside and outside of school.

• The benefits of geographic literacy for personal life, the world of work and citizens, namely; in our personal lives, making informed decisions about where to live, how to travel, and what products to buy can save time and money, protect the environment, and improve personal health and well-being • Individual ability to demonstrate map reading skills, knowledge of the spatial location of places, and an understanding of the people and cultural associations of various areas. Intelligence is defined as the ability to solve complex problems. Space in geography is the most important object of study. Methods

The research was conducted using a descriptive method The geographic approach used is a spatial and in the Citanduy Ciamis River area, , Indonesia. environmental approach. The stages in the research proposed in this research proposal are related to the Development of Student Spatial Intelligence through Ecological Literacy-Based Learning (Ecoliteration.

Goals, Benefits and the Ecovillage Program • As a solution to the imbalance and imbalance of urban-rural development • as an effort to reduce density in urban areas, reduce urbanization, equitable development and improve the quality of life in rural areas • as an effort to optimize natural resources and use efficiency of fuel, thereby encouraging energy independence of rural communities The Ecovillage program can be used as a natural example of learning in school. Ecovillage programs in two villages in and have diversity in each area such as in Guranteng Village with the name Ecovillage Lestari group choosing the Ecovillage program, namely the conservation of upstream Ci Tanduy river, waste bank, and sustainable food house areas, while in Desa Sindangherang with the name of the Gaur Ci Tanduy Ecovillage group has an Ecovillage program, namely the Waste Bank, Gotong Royong, River Border Management, and Ecovillage Park program. • The existence of the Ecovillage program can be used as learning for changes in behavior that cares for the environment. Before the Ecovillage program, the community did not really care about the environment, but after the Ecovillage program, the community was more concerned about and protecting the environment. • This should serve as a role model to serve as an ecoliteration-based learning resource. Where students can explore for real in studying environmental problems and can find solutions for solving problems critically. By utilizing the Ci Tanduy river area which has its Ecovillage Program, it can help facilitate students to learn contextually, especially in learning environmental problems. References
