Amy Pederson is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art History of the University of California, Los Angeles. She travelled to Asia in 2001 on a Pre-Doctoral Fellowship for Summer Travel Abroad by Historians of American Art from the Center for the Advanced Study in the Visual Arts, National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Marina Roy is Assistant Professor in the Department of Art History, Visual Art, and Theory at The University of British Columbia. Her book Sign After the X is available from Advance EditionsIArsenal Pulp Press and Artspeak Gallery. She will be exhibiting a collaborative video project with Natasha McHardy at the Or Gallery, Vancouver, in February 2004.
