00:04 INTRO CLIP – Voice over

With three races this weekend, race two took place mid Saturday afternoon on the Spa Francorchamps circuit under mild, clear conditions. Tension is rising on the starting grid as the end of the season draws near and the teams’ championship could be decided this weekend, with R-Ace GP leading by a broad margin. #11 Sacha FENESTRAZ () will start from pole position, having clinched all three poles for the weekend. The French driver, #4 Gabriel AUBRY (R-Ace GP) lines up alongside FENESTRAZ on the front row of the grid, followed by #1 Yifei YE (Josef Kaufman Racing) and #10 Robert SHWARTZMAN (R-Ace GP).

00:35 Race start The cars get off to a clean start, heading off through La Source hairpin, and down towards Eau Rouge, the most famous section of the Belgian circuit.

00:52 Voice over And as they veer left over the crest, #44 Gilles MAGNUS (R-Ace GP) loses control and slides off at high speed into the barriers.

00:59 Voice over #4 AUBRY slips through to take the lead in the first lap, and as MAGNUS gets out of the car, the yellow flag is out.

01:14 Voice over The running is back under way and the battle is still on for the lead. FENESTRAZ wants to take back P1.

01:19 Voice over SHWARTZMAN goes on the attack, overtaking YE… then it’s the turn of YE and #16 Thomas RANDLE to tangle.

01:37 Voice over FENESTRAZ attacks again, but this time goes off the track, and ends up dropping back a position.

01:47 Voice over That leaves the way clear for AUBRY to go through and take a well-deserved victory at Spa Francorchamps. (Images of team and driver joy in pit lane)

“It was a great race, honestly. It was really tough because Sacha had a really good pace all the race and the slipstreaming in Spa Francorchamps is incredible, so I was defending during the whole race and to be fair spending the whole race looking in my mirror. I am really happy with the result, because that’s what I need for the championship, and I’ll be looking for more tomorrow.
