Leadership Institute to begin accepting applications Women in grades 10-12 are invited to apply to be part of the first ever Leadership Institute, a fundraiser for the Pueblo Library Foundation. This is a character-building program where participants will learn about leadership, teamwork, volunteering and be recognized publicly as the next generation of leaders and philanthropists in Pueblo. This will be a life-changing opportunity to make friends, learn about leadership and impact the lives of Pueblo’s citizenry through supporting the public library. These girls had a lot of fun making origami animals at one of the Art Bash events held at Rawlings this summer. The six-month institute will culminate with the Bal de Bibliotheque, a one-of-a-kind event where all participants will be publicly recognized for their accomplishments and introduced to the community. Proceeds benefit the Pueblo Library Foundation’s endowment fund. Applications are due Friday, Jan. 8, 2016.
