WEDDINGS AND EVENTS

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Tarpon Springs located at 230 Grand Boulevard in Tarpon Springs is available for weddings and other events throughout the year.

The rental fee for weddings performed in the Sanctuary or on the patio is $600.00 which includes the use of the Church on the day of the wedding as well as one additional day for a two hour rehearsal. The Church can accommodate a maximum of 100 guests. There is a small stage to accommodate musicians. The stage also houses a grand piano which can be used upon request. A deposit of $200.00 is required to reserve the date. This fee covers only the use of the Church. You must arrange for an officiant to perform the ceremony and you are responsible for providing liability insurance, any additional services such as music, photography and flowers. Our Minister, if available, will officiate for an honorarium of $200.00. Music arrangements may be made with The Church Music Director, Bonnie Whitehurst, if available. The Church Forum Room and Social Hall are also available for an intimate wedding reception. The kitchen may be used for the purpose of serving by a caterer, but not for the preparation of food. Beer and wine can be served but we do not allow hard alcohol. The Forum Room has a 75” TV, a Blu Ray DVD Player, and an handheld cordless microphone. The Church does not provide a laptop computer. The Church has some tables, chairs, dishes, silverware and glasses which can be used. You may also provide your own dishes, glasses, tables and chairs. You must provide the caterer, linens and centerpieces.

The Church is also available for other events, such as showers, family reunions, commitment ceremonies, anniversaries, renewal of vows, rites of passage, memorials, business meetings and conferences, and community celebrations.
