In the villages of the Kent Estuary the focus will be on the theme “Who is my neighbour?” Local church communities are being joined by small teams from elsewhere to make it a big event for Cumbria. For us in the Kent Estuary, we are very pleased to warmly welcome Bishop Geoff Pearson, former bishop of Lancaster, his wife Jean, and a team of four others to join in with our events leading up to Mothering Sunday. They will arrive at teatime on Thursday 8th and be with us until Sunday 11th. 3 Kent Estuary wide initiatives —and each of the village churches and the local Christians Together groups will also be hosting activities and making a presence in public places. The trolley will be in St. Thomas’ Church Centre throughout Lent until 25th March.
