Cookie Program payments are made via automated clearing house, or ACH, where the council takes payment directly from your troop’s checking account. We will send you balance statements prior to money being collected. Need help with setting up a troop bank account? Give Council Care a call at 800-624-4185. Do you have a troop cookie manager? If not, hold a parent meeting to let them know the business and life skills the girls will learn while doing the sale as well the reward items to be earned, and that the troop and council will also earn proceeds. Ask all the parents to help the troop in some capacity during the sale, each could chaperone a booth, for example. The council also offers a Troop Cookie Manager Guide giving them step- by-step details on how to perform this volunteer role. We also have several online trainings to help make this an easy and successful activity for your parents. Have you told parents about Digital Cookie? This fun, easy-to-use tool helps girls superpower their sale and go beyond the booth with online and mobile channels that make it easy for cookie fans near and far to support her sales and ultimately—her success.
