A secondary political bibliography of by Kenneth Blackwell

THIS BIBLIOGRAPHYCONTAINS48 items. Most bibliographies of this kind turn out longer than one supposed they would, but the surprising fact is the pattern the bibliography displays. Over 60% of the items have appeared since Russell's death in 1970. This is surely an indication of the growth of Russell studies in the past nine years. But it is probably also an indication of the incompleteness of the bibliography for earlier years. The inter-war period seems particu larly incomplete. Additions to the bibliography will be gratefully received and listed in a future issue of Russell. Apart from a very few exceptions (justified chiefly by their length), I have not included reviews of Russell's books. Nor have I included dissertations and theses, and articles concerned mainly with the particular positions Russell took on political affairs. All three ofthese omitted categories deserve their own bibliographies.
