Your gadgets and how to use them By Brent Manley In the excitement of learning the world’s best card game, new players often become enthralled with conventions. Some players end up marking boxes on their convention cards without fully understanding how these conventions work. In an earlier article at this tournament, I recommended that you consider forming a regular partnership. If you have a regular partner, the two of you can add conventions together, but only after you know how they work and when they apply.
