COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS TO CONDUCT ANNUAL DEVELOPMENT CAMP FOR PROSPECTS AT OHIOHEALTH ICE HAUS FROM JUNE 26‐29 Fourth annual 3‐on‐3 Tournament to be held on Thursday, June 29 at 4:30pm

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The will conduct their annual prospect development camp at the OhioHealth Ice Haus, the club’s official practice facility at Nationwide Arena, with on‐ice practice sessions scheduled from Monday, June 26 through Thursday, June 29, the club announced today.

This year’s camp is highlighted by the fourth annual 3‐on‐3 Tournament, which will be held on Thursday, June 29 beginning at 4:30 p.m. All on‐ice practice sessions are free and open to the public. A complete schedule of on‐ice sessions can be found below:

MEDIA NOTE: Media availability for players will be held in the Blue Jackets dressing room at Nationwide Arena. Those media members that are unable to attend during the available times and wish to interview a player or member of the hockey operations department, please contact the Columbus Blue Jackets communications staff.

The players participating in this year’s camp will feature club prospects and players selected in the 2017 NHL Draft, which will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 23‐24, at United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Leading the group of prospects will be two of the club’s first round picks in the most recent NHL Drafts – 2015 first round pick Gabriel Carlsson (29th overall) and 2016 third overall selection Pierre‐Luc Dubois. Other drafted players scheduled to participate in the camp include: 2016 – Andrew Peeke, Vitaly Abramov, Peter Thome, Calvin Thurkauf; 2015 – Keegan Kolesar, Kevin Stenlund, Veeti Vainio; 2014 – Ryan Collins, Tyler Bird. A complete development camp roster will be available prior to the start of camp.

Blue Jackets Assistant Coach Kenny McCudden along with Development Coaches Chris Clark, Jarkko Ruutu and Gregory Campbell, the ’ coaching staff, the club's affiliate, and skating consultant Lee Harris will lead the on‐ice portion of development camp.
