He has registered 32-165-197, 365 penalty minutes and a +48 plus/minus rating in 305 career AHL games from 2012-19. The 6-0, 194-pound blueliner was selected by Chicago in the second round, 36th overall, in the 2011 NHL Draft. He is expected to join the Monsters in Chicago prior to their game Saturday night against the Wolves. Carlsson, 20, recently completed his second full season with Linköping HC in the Swedish Hockey League where he collected two goals and two assists for four points with six penalty minutes and a +8 plus/minus rating in 40 games. In 2015-16, he tallied 1-8-9, eight penalty minutes and was +4 in 45 games as the club’s youngest full-time player. The 6-4, 191-pound blueliner, who was selected by Columbus in the first round, 29th overall, at the 2015 NHL Draft held at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, has registered 3-12-15, 10 penalty minutes and a +15 plus/minus rating in 92 career SHL games. The Orebro, Sweden native made his SHL debut with Linköping HC in 2014-15, recording 0-2-2 and a +3 plus/minus rating in seven regular season games and adding 0-1-1 with two penalty minutes in 10 playoff contests. That year, he also recorded 0-7-7, 14 penalty minutes and was +21 in 39 games with Linköping HC J20 of the SuperElit and 2-3-5, 2 penalty minutes and +2 in seven contests with Linköping U18 of the J18 Elit.

But if Anderson doesn't report? “Him not being here would be a bad, bad decision,” Kekalainen told The Athletic. The Blue Jackets held media day Wednesday in Nationwide Arena, basking in the optimism created by the franchise’s best season, a 50‐win, 108‐point surprise in 2016‐17. Even the idea that Anderson could become the second Blue Jackets’ player in four years to hold out of training camp didn’t dampen the mood for the club’s management or coach John Tortorella. As of 5 p.m. Wednesday, nothing had changed in talks between Blue Jackets assistant general manager Bill Zito and Anderson’s agent, Darren Ferris, sources told The Athletic. Carlsson, 22, suited up in the Blue Jackets’ 2018-19 season opener at Detroit on October 4, registering one shot and two penalty minutes in 9:21 of ice time. He has collected three assists and six penalty minutes in 17 career games with the Jackets since making his NHL debut at the end of the 2016-17 campaign. In 2017-18, the 6-5, 192-pound defenseman tallied 0-2-2, four penalty minutes and an “even” plus/minus rating in 14 outings with the team. Columbus’ second first round pick, 29th overall, in the 2015 NHL Draft, the Orebro, Sweden native has also notched 3- 12-15 and 22 penalty minutes in 68 career AHL contests with the Monsters. He has posted 1-8-9 and six penalty minutes in 32 games with the team this season. Sherwood, 21, has notched 4-3-7 with 22 penalty minutes in 22 games with the Monsters this season, leading club rookies in penalty minutes and ranking third in goals, assists, points and games played. He has added 1-0-1 in three contests with the ECHL’s Jacksonville IceMen. The New Albany, Ohio native has registered 4-3-7 and 24 penalty minutes in 24 career AHL games with the Monsters since making his pro debut at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
