www.cicerobook.com RankPro 2017/2018 TOP World leading universities According to the methodology, the rating of an institution of higher education consists of three components, which would allow obtaining a full picture of the level of the institution: - Academic possibilities of a university - academic ranking; - Communicability and information availability on a University homepage – ranking by BC-Index; - National and international reputation of the university – public ranking. Experts: members of the International Council of Scientists ICS. The interrelation of these three rating components in the overall result is determined as a result of a survey conducted among members of the International Council of Scientists ICS - professors of universities of different types from more than 40 countries. As a result of the survey between the members of the International Council of Scientists, conducted under the GWC program to compile RankPro 2017/2018, the following values of the contribution of each component in the overall ranking of a university have been obtained: - Academic ranking – 50% - Ranking by BC-Index – 25% - Public ranking – 25% The top leading universities of the world were defined as a general result of adding the contribution of each component of the rating under the GWC program. World Top universities are represented in the following groups: World Best, World Leader, and World Class according to the indicators of the three sections of the rating.
