The current services they can receive allow them to choose a home-based setting to live independently. The Governor’s proposed cuts risk disruption of already fragile services for older adults and adults with disabilities and only increase California’s budget problems. It makes no sense to eliminate these programs, causing real hardship for people like (myself, my mother/father, neighbor, etc) when real savings will not be achieved. Again, I urge you to take action to prevent these senseless program eliminations. Thank you in advance for demonstrating leadership in this critical issue.” SEIU Local 721 2472 Eastman Avenue, #30 Ventura, CA 93003 PHONE: (805) 644‐8291 FAX: (805) 644‐7843 Member Resource Center (877) 721‐4YOU Website: www.seiu721.org .
