He has a love of fashion and putting unique looks together. You will never catch him looking anything less than stellar in his appearance. Fashion Inspiration Styling for Stayfl y Thrash is a natural talent. He gets his inspiration from everything around him. He has a knack for taking clients and making them comfortable with trying something new all while being able to incorporate their existing sense of style. Household Name Since being in Los Angeles, Stayfl y Thrash has had great success in styling for celebrities including: Actor, Omari Hardwick for KRAVE Magazine; NFL Star, AJ Green of the Cincinnati Bengals; Actor/Comedian, Tone Bell, Singer, Jonet and Comedian/Actor, Ray Grady. He also styled Prince’s “Breakfast Can Wait” video; singer, Ne-Yo for his “Forever Now” video, the music video for British singer, MIKA for his song, “Underwater,” and more. Stayfl y Thrash has big plans to take his brand and incorporate it in all aspects of the industry, eventually making it a household name. Not only was this collegiate athlete known for his skills on the football fi eld, but also for his bold, daring sense of style around the city. After college, he proceeded to follow his dream of becoming a celebrity barber by obtaining his barber’s license and branding himself as one of the only “fashion forward” barbers in town. This sense of style that he possessed caught the eye of local photographers and modeling agencies throughout Charleston, which launched him into the modeling industry. While styling himself for personal photo-shoots, he found a new passion for styling others for their shoots as well. Jak podają źródła, w 1948 roku francuski badacz, kompozytor, akustyk Pierre Schaeffer (1910-1995) nagrał za pomocą mikrofonu dźwięki naturalne m.in. (śpiew ptaków, hałas uliczny, rozmowy) i próbował je przekształcać. Tak powstała muzyka nazwana konkretną (fr. musigue concrete). W tym samym roku wyemitował w radiu „Koncert szumów”. Jego najważniejszą kompozycją okazał się utwór pt. „Symphonie pour un homme seul” z 1950 roku. W kolejnych latach muzykę konkretną łączono z muzyką tradycyjną. Oto pionierzy tego eksperymentu: John Cage i Yannis Xenakis. Muzyka konkretna pojawiła się w kompozycji Rogera Watersa. Utwór ten trafił na ścieżkę dźwiękową do filmu „The Body” (1970). Grupa Beaver and Krause wprowadziła muzykę konkretną do utworu „Walking Green Algae Blues” z albumu „In A Wild Sanctuary” (1970), a zespół Pink Floyd w „Animals” (1977). Pierwsze próby tworzenia muzyki elektronicznej miały miejsce w Darmstadt (w Niemczech) na Międzynarodowych Kursach Nowej Muzyki w 1950 roku. W 1951 roku powstało pierwsze studio muzyki elektronicznej przy Rozgłośni Radia Zachodnioniemieckiego w Kolonii (NWDR- Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk). Tu tworzyli: H. Eimert (Glockenspiel 1953), K.     The Innovation Paradox: How Innovation Products Threaten the Innovation Process By Scott Francisco Published in: Reconstruction: Studies in Contemporary Culture – Vol. 10, No. 2, 2010 http://reconstruction.eserver.org/102/contents102.shtml Abstract: Innovation is both a growing trend and a genuine necessity for the economy, society, environment, human health and national security. Innovation outputs appear prolific, and ongoing research continuously advances new strategies for innovation success. Little if any research, however, connects the products and the process of innovation, and explores the impact each is having on the other. This paper proposes that the products of innovation today, particularly ICT devices, networks, databases and analytics, are themselves attacking the foundations of innovation process and skills. Research on the core skills, creativity, risk-taking and mental structures necessary for innovation find that they are best cultivated in hands-on, socio-spatial environments. The conflicting realities of product and process result in the Innovation Paradox: The more we innovate in our current fashion, the more we undermine the very environments and skills necessary for robust innovation ecosystems. While several prominent authors predict dire consequences, such as “Dark Ages” where knowledge and culture are all but lost, this paper offers a new perspective. Longmore, Advisor Dr. Raymond Swisher Dr. Gary Oates ! ! ""! ABSTRACT Dr. Monica Longmore, Advisor This study focuses on parents’ cell phone usage and family quality. I use cross- sectional data from the Networked Families Survey (N=417), a subcomponent from a larger study, the Pew Internet & American Life Project. I examine whether frequency of parents’ cell phone usage (i.e., phoning and texting) to children and spouses affects their degree of satisfaction with time spent with the family, which is an important indicator of quality of family life. The integration of technology into personal and professional communication has become an important topic of scholarship in academia. Technology is changing social interactions. Currently 78% of Americans without children under the age of 18 own a cell phone, and that percentage increases to 91% when children under the age of 18 are present in the home. As cell phone use becomes integrated into Americans’ daily lives, it is important to understand its effects on family relationships and satisfaction with family life. I find that cell phone use has no significant relationship to satisfaction with time spent with family. Having dinner with the family and satisfaction with time spent with family was significantly associated, which follows the previous literature. Previous research does suggest that being distracted during this time of connection can detract from any positive effects of eating dinner together, and this might explain the lack of significant effect of technology on family life.
