Ikonet Prince Annoncerer to Nye Studiealbums 2014-08-25 15:06 CEST IKONET PRINCE ANNONCERER TO NYE STUDIEALBUMS. Musikikonet PRINCE annoncerer i dag ikke bare et, men to, helt nye studiealbums, der rammer globalt d.29 september via Warner Bros. Records. De længeventede albums er: ‘ART OFFICIAL AGE’ og ‘PLECTRUMELECTRUM’. ‘ART OFFICIAL AGE’ er et soloalbum og ‘PLECTRUMELECTRUM’ er indspillet sammen med Princes nye band 3RDEYEGIRL. Begge albums kan forudbestilles fra midnat og ved forudbestilling er der instant grats på begge albums. 2014 har uden tvivl været et af de mest spændende år for det fænomenale musiktalent. Sammen med 3RDEYEGIRL har han rocket det europæiske publikum med sin udsolgte "Hit & Run”-tour, der har genereret nogle af de bedste anmeldelser han har opnået i sin karriere indtil nu. I april lancerede Prince NPG Music Publishing – det er dermed første gang i 20 år, at Prince selv sit imponerende katalog. Derudover headlinede Prince Essence Festivalen i New Orleans og gav en meget omtalt gæsteoptræden i TV-showet ’New Girl’. 2014 understreger dermed, at Prince fortsat er innovativ og i stand til at overraske hans fans og med åbne arme tage mod det helt nyt publikum der er kommet til.     2 don’t understand why so many people are angry with the recent iTunes promotion of U2’s new album. Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not saying this because I am a fan of the band, or because I think it is a remarkable record. It’s not, and I’m not. The band have made much better records in the past, and they have made considerably worse ones. That isn’t the issue. There have been times in my life when I have been quite impressed with the band’s output, although I would never have called myself a true blue fan. But that isn’t the issue either. The issue is why are so many people incensed by the fact that iTunes paid the band an undisclosed sum (said to be in the multiple millions) to send a copy of the record to everybody who had an iTunes account on the day in question? Jak podają źródła, w 1948 roku francuski badacz, kompozytor, akustyk Pierre Schaeffer (1910-1995) nagrał za pomocą mikrofonu dźwięki naturalne m.in. (śpiew ptaków, hałas uliczny, rozmowy) i próbował je przekształcać. Tak powstała muzyka nazwana konkretną (fr. musigue concrete). W tym samym roku wyemitował w radiu „Koncert szumów”. Jego najważniejszą kompozycją okazał się utwór pt. „Symphonie pour un homme seul” z 1950 roku. W kolejnych latach muzykę konkretną łączono z muzyką tradycyjną. Oto pionierzy tego eksperymentu: John Cage i Yannis Xenakis. Muzyka konkretna pojawiła się w kompozycji Rogera Watersa. Utwór ten trafił na ścieżkę dźwiękową do filmu „The Body” (1970). Grupa Beaver and Krause wprowadziła muzykę konkretną do utworu „Walking Green Algae Blues” z albumu „In A Wild Sanctuary” (1970), a zespół Pink Floyd w „Animals” (1977). Pierwsze próby tworzenia muzyki elektronicznej miały miejsce w Darmstadt (w Niemczech) na Międzynarodowych Kursach Nowej Muzyki w 1950 roku. W 1951 roku powstało pierwsze studio muzyki elektronicznej przy Rozgłośni Radia Zachodnioniemieckiego w Kolonii (NWDR- Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk). Tu tworzyli: H. Eimert (Glockenspiel 1953), K. Liegh McInnis It has been twenty-nine years since I’ve had a “what the hell is this” reaction to a new Prince album. When Around the World in a Day (1985) was released, I was a very unsophisticated fifteen year old who was, like most people, anticipating Purple Rain II. I received an album from an artist who was not interested in meeting anyone’s expectations accept his own. I must admit that my “what the hell is this” response to Around the World in a Day was a positive reaction whereas my “what the hell is this” response to Art Official Age and Plectrum Electrum was one of utter confusion. I like most of the songs; I just do not like that they sound like this era’s music. Prince’s first manager, Owen Husney, once stated that Prince’s genius is taking what’s in someone else’s mind to the next level. If we review Princes work from 1978 to 1989, Husney’s statement is affirmed. Yet, from 1990 to 1998, Prince seemed to struggle with reconciling himself to hip hop’s takeover of popular music. He begins by defying and attacking it and ends by attempting to assimilate it with varying success but not enough success to remain on the charts or in the hearts of the masses as a relevant studio artist, which was fine with me.
