Seating A crowd of 1,500 to 1,600 is expected for the ordination at St. Francis of Assisi Church in West Des Moines. Guests for the ticketed event include clergy from the Archdiocese of Dubuque, the Diocese of Des Moines, visiting bishops, representatives of the diocese’s 80 parishes and friends and family of the bishop-elect. About 1,000 people can be seated in the worship space, with an overflow room set up to accommodate others. A ticket will be needed to enter the worship center and the overflow room.     A Message from the Head of School Dear Friends, This year marks the beginning of my twenty-fifth year at the Academy as an educator, my fifth year as Head of School and Principal, and my thirty-eighth year as a member of the Marmion Brotherhood! As I think back to my time as a student, I was blessed MARMION and fortunate to have many incredible role models and mentors, The News Magazine of especially the Monks.
