Neighbourhood Decision Making 2018 Voting Results The successful ideas in each geographic area are highlighted. There is $50,000 available for each of the 5 geographic areas. In order of the winning ideas (most votes to least), funding was allocated until it was exhausted in each geographic area. If the cost of an idea was greater than the funds remaining, City staff undertook to assess if the idea was scalable and a smaller funding amount could support some action for that idea. Staff then consulted with the residents who submitted those ideas to determine if they wished to still proceed with a smaller project or if they wished to resubmit in the next round of Neighbourhood Decision Making. In cases where it was either not possible to implement the idea on a smaller scale or the resident did not wish to proceed with a smaller scale version of the idea, the next idea on the list was considered until all the funds were exhausted.
