Learning the Bible in the Twenty'first Century Lessons from Harry Potter and Vampires Mary Hess Luther Seminary I am a Roman Catholic layperson, I teach at a Lutheran seminary in Minnesota, my research centers on digital media and faith, and at the moment my husband Eric and I are living and learning with our two sons—Nathaniel who is twelve and Alex who is seventeen. All of these elements of my life contribute to how I see the world.
