CENTRAL CITY – The Linn County Fair presents Alien Ant Farm in concert on Thursday, June 26, 2014, 7:30 p.m. at The Linn County Fair grandstands. This is an all-ages show. Opening band is a southern Rock n Roll band Framing the red that is taking the national music scene by storm.

Ticket information:

Tickets for the concert go on sale Saturday, May 10th at 8am online only. “Back in the Saddle’ special, Buy Two (2) tickets for the price of 1 ($10). Tickets can be purchased by going to www.thelinncountyfair.com. Special runs from 8am on May 10th to midnight on May 16th. Tickets prior to concert are $10 or $15 day of show.

Alien Ant Farm:

Since the formation of Alien Ant Farm in 1995, the quartet has enjoyed worldwide success. Over the course of their four studio , cumulative sales surpass five million units a Grammy nomination and 4 top 10 singles. The band built a massive following on the road early in their career via high profile 2001 runs with , , Warped, and as the headliner on an MTV presented Fall Tour. In 2002, fame spread across the world, bringing AlienAnt Farm to the major European festivals, Australia’s Big Day Out and a headline run in Japan. The following year they returned to Europe with , and to this day the band has steadily delivered audiences in territories across the globe.

From the beginning, the clever humor of vocalist Dryden Mitchell and guitarist Terry Corso has delivered visual imagery that made the band vanguards in the realm of . All of the singles released received heavy rotation on MTV and MTV2, with “Smooth Criminal” was voted the #2 video of 2001 on MTV’s countdown. They appeared on the channel’s programs Celebrity Dismissed, MTV Cribbs, and hosted House of Style. Alongside the massive support from cable, Alien Ant Farm were darlings of broadcast television with multiple appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and support from Carson Daly, Extra, CNN, Access Hollywood and Mad-TV amongst many more. With all the notoriety also came a 2001 Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2001.

Framing the Red:

Framing The Red is a southern Rock n Roll band that is taking the national music scene by storm. They are not trying to get their foot in the door of opportunity, they are knocking it down. For a band that has only been together and touring for a little over 3 years, each and every member has the talent and can put on a show that any onlooker would think this was a seasoned band that has been touring for years. Framing The Red promises to deliver a show like none other, grabbing their audiences and bringing everyone to their feet with catchy riffs, great lyrics, and high impact live stage show that people will continue to talk about!

In 2010, Framing The Red started with five guys straight out of the heart of the southern . During the first year and a half the band went through line up changes, recorded their first E.P., and began touring the nation hoping to make Framing The Red a household name! The bands first single “A.O.” gained mass popularity across the south beginning with a local station (Rock 93.7) out of Lafayette, La spinning the single on a constant rotation. After the release of their self titled E.P., which produced 2 radio singles “A.O” and “Lay Down Beside Me” the band set back and began writing what would become their freshman “Welcome To The Show”.

In August of 2012, Framing The Red released their debut album “Welcome To The Show” producing three radio singles off the freshman album, along with a video release of the third single “Country Band Man”. Framing The Red has had the privilege of sharing the stage with such bands as Motley Crue, Sevendust, Black Stone Cherry, Cavo, Rains, Alien Ant Farm, Sevendust, , Hurt, , Lynam, 10 Years, and festivals such as just to name a few! Framing The Red is the next “big thing”, this band embraces Rock ’N Roll at its finest and is a firm truth that Rock ‘N Roll is not dead.
