Growing up in Calgary, Canada I first started working in the film industry in 1982. Landing a job in 1983 as a stunt driver on a feature film called “Superman III” starring Christopher Reeves.

I continued to work in the film and television industry in Canada in a variety of roles and job descriptions from stunts to wrangling to acting. With a rodeo and horsemanship background I began to focus on all aspects of stunt work including highfalls, fire, fights, wire work and live stunt shows.

In 1985 I travelled to Australia to work on a feature film “The Right Hand Man” doubling Hugo Weaving doing horse stunts and wrangling including driving horse drawn wagons including the famous “Leviathan” stagecoach that carried 36 passengers and was pulled by a 12 up team of horses.

Working as a stuntman, horse master and safety supervisor in features, television shows, commercials in Australia, Canada and South East Asia I made Australia my new home after doing a feature film in Australia with Tom Selleck called “Quigley Down under” in 1988.

1991 I was Contracted to Warner Brothers Movie World Theme park Gold Coast Australia to works as the Director / Stunt coordinator and writer for the Wild west stunt show “Horses and Heroes” and the Illusion spectacular “Maverick the Grand Illusion show.”

I am a member of the Australian equity union M.E.A.A. and I have been elected to be on the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance Australian stunt grading committee in Sydney from 1986-88 and also in Queensland in 1994.

1991- 1995 I was contracted to Warner Bros Movie World at theme park, Gold Coast Australia as the writer, director, horse trainer and stunt coordinator for the “Western Action Stunt Show”. The Hilarious action packed show thrilled audiences for 5 years and performed over 5000 shows.

1996-1999 I also was the coordinator and Assistant director for the Illusion spectacular “Maverick Grand Illusion Show” at Warner Brothers Movie World Theme Park. The multi million dollar show was a success for 3 years and over 3000 performances.

1995 I wrote, directed and coordinated the live action rooftop stunt show “Shoot out at the Oh! Oh! Corral”

1994-1999 I directed and was the stunt coordinator for many other smaller in park shows such as “Batman vs Mr Freeze” “Meet the Gladiators”
