The need for targeted vocational training and education of rural (public) teachers was indicated by K.D. Ushinsky and many other progressive figures in the education of Russiain XIX - early XX centuries. It is they who own the most important provisions and the first practices of vocational training and additional professional education for teachers of the domestic rural school. The professional pedagogical activity of a rural teacher has its significant specific features. At the same time, it is influenced by the current trends in the development of society and education as an institution that determines the future of this society, and should appropriately reflect these new developments. Such trends include ideas about the continuity of teacher education, the origins of which we can observe in reflections on the rural teacher among those who laid the foundations of Russian pedagogical science. -

Modern education requires effective innovations that can help provide a system of necessary quality learning changes. Education must be not only comprehensive, stable and excellent, but also constantly developed to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and unpredictable global world. The focus of educational innovation should be on the theoretical and practical teaching and learning process, as well as on students, parents, society and its culture. Technological applications require a solid theoretical basis, based on targeted, systematic studies and pedagogy. One of the most important areas of research can be modern technologies and innovations and their efficiency in education. With the development of modern communication and information technologies, the problem of their use in the educational process is quite important and actual. The use of Electronic Social Art as a combination of personal experience and art, presented with the help of new technologies, increases the interest in art and creates new opportunities for education. Electronic Social Art has great potential and implements informative, community, normative, creative, integration and mediatory functions. However, until now there has been no unity in understanding the essence, sources, and components of happiness. Quite often, the interpretation of the phenomenon of happi- ness is limited to the analysis of the works of philosophers of antiquity, the European Middle Ages, modern and recent history, and many researchers are in a kind of Eurocentric captivity. Consciously or accidentally, the works of Russian thinkers are often not considered. This hinders the creation of a holistic and more objective picture of such an important aspect of every person’s life. In order to overcome this Eurocentric bias, this study suggests tracing back the main stages of the development of the idea of happiness in Russia from the era of Peter the Great to the present. For this purpose, the authors used the methods of theoretical, comparative, and retrospective analysis. The authors believe that currently the pedagogy of happiness is being actively formed. To educate happy people, teachers should master the art of the pedagogy of happiness.
