Nous nous souviendrons longtemps de l’année 2020 et de la COVID-19. Tous ne s’en rappelleront pas pour les mêmes raisons. Il y a eu le confinement, oui, mais il n’a pas été vécu de la même façon par tout le monde. Son impact dépendait beaucoup de notre situation personnelle : notre âge, notre état de santé, l’endroit où nous habitions et j’en passe. Certains parmi vous ont vu la maladie de près, d’autres non. J’offre mes plus sincères condoléances aux personnes qui ont perdu un être cher au cours de ce triste épisode. La seule réalité commune à tous : la société était en pause comme à l’époque de la grippe espagnole au début du XXe siècle. Mais au fait, comment savons-nous ce qui s’est passé entre 1918 et 1920? Il n’y a probablement plus personne pour nous le raconter. Ceux qui y ont survécu, nos parents sûrement, nos grands-parents assurément, nous ont partagé leurs souvenirs. Les histoires variaient avec le talent de la conteuse ou du conteur. Avec le temps, une part de légendes s’est ajoutée. Ces légendes avaient probablement commencé par des rumeurs comme celle qui a couru ce prin- temps. Cette rumeur attribuait’ l origine du virus à un savant qui l’avait créé dans son laboratoire. Vous êtes-vous arrêtés à réfléchir à quelles légendes donnera lieu cette pandémie? Une chose est certaine, ce n’est pas nous qui allons les raconter.

    LARA FABIAN TOUTES LES FEMMES EN MOI iographie Lara Fabian, de son vrai nom Lara Crokaert voit le jour à Etterbeek (Bruxelles), le 9 janvier 1970. Son père, de nationalité belge, est guitariste de la chanteuse Petula Clark, sa mère, est quant à elle d’origine italienne - sicilienne pour être plus précis. C’est d’ailleurs en Sicile que Lara va passer les cinq premières années de sa vie, au pied de l’Etna, volcan majestueux et chargé d’une riche histoire... Revenue en Belgique en 1975, Lara suit l’enseignement avec grand intérêt. Dans le même temps, elle prend ses premières leçons de chant. Un premier déclic a lieu le 6 décembre 1978 - jour de la Saint-Nicolas, lorsque ses parents lui offrent un piano. Pour la jeune artiste, c’est un rêve qui se réalise... Un piano... La voici désormais en mesure de composer ses premières mélodies et, de sa voix déjà magique, d’interpréter les airs qu’elle entend à la radio. Son père l’encourage alors à se produire dans les petites salles de spectacles de Bruxelles et de la région - apprentissage obligatoire à ses yeux, puis à participer à divers concours amateurs. Le plus célèbre d’entre eux est Le Tremplin de Bruxelles. En 1986, Lara en sort victorieuse, ce qui lui permet d’enregistrer son premier single.
