Originally that was the cover of ALIEN LEGION v.2, Issue #5, with Jugger Grimrod in all his glory. As such, it is fitting that there he is again to beckon the reader to see what the legion is all about.From what I can gather this continues exactly there where the ALIEN LEGION omnibus series ends; I would have to go back and re-read those two volumes, but I believe that between them they cover the entirely of vol.1 of the series, including the . These new collections, from Titan, start with the first issue of vol. 2. The next volume is slated to come out in March 2015.How do I sell you on this book? Well, if you're a fan of not-so-perfect beings in not-so-Utopian sci-fi, this is for you. We're talking dirty grunts that are fully fleshed-out characters that over time reveal themselves to be a family of sorts. Like any family there are bad seeds and the occasional flare of tension, but ultimately, the bonds remains, strong as ever.Think "the French Foreign Legion in space" and you're getting close, with perhaps a bit of STAR TREK by way of Tarantino's INGLORIOUS BASTERDS. this isn't; there's no chosen one trying to balance anything.
