Invoice: An invoice will be included with your shipment. The invoice will show the plant subtotal plus shipping and handling charges. For shipments within Washington State, sales tax will be added to the plant subtotal. Your will not be charged until after shipment or pickup.

Once you make your appointment, we will send your invoice and detailed directions via email on how to navigate to our office. Staff members will not be available to assist you at the time of the pick-up.

Plants are guaranteed to be in good health when shipped and true to name; however, the authenticity of seedlings from wild collected sources cannot be guaranteed.

Packing and shipping may damage tender shoots. We are not responsible for damage in transit. In the event of breakage or loss, please enter claims with the carrier and notify us immediately.

Rhododendron species Size Price Description An easy and attractive species that is not often seen in gardens. Smooth narrow leaves and bell-shaped pink to deep rose or lilac flowers in early Rhododendron anthosphaerum $12.00 spring. Shade tolerant and a strong grower. From seed collected in the wild. Very floriferous with age and valued for its brightly-colored, very early flowers.

Rounded evergreen with glandular-sticky new growth and more or less bristly stems. A beautiful foliage plant, this species has shiny dark green leaves with deeply impressed veins. The lower leaf surface is covered with a Rhododendron crinigerum $25.00 distinct yellowish to yellow-brown or tan indumentum. The bell-shaped flowers are white to pink or rose, often striped pink with a darker blotch and/or spots. A fine woodland species, best in light shade.

Open-growing evergreen shrubs with smooth and shiny peeling bark. The distinctive glossy leaves are extremely attractive with a heavily puckered Rhododendron edgeworthii B $11.00 (bullate) texture above and a thick tawny indumentum below. The large and fragrant white flushed deep rose flowers appear in mid-spring. Requires sharp drainage and great in a container.

A Maddenia new to cultivation, closely related to nuttallii but typically with narrower foliage that is more strongly glaucous-white beneath. Very large Rhododendron excellens B $7.00 and fragrant white flowers with a strong yellow-orange blotch in late spring to early summer. Smooth and peeling bark. The hardiest of the larger- flowered maddenias.

This famous 1970 Award of Merit form is a dense and prostrate mound with Rhododendron keiskei 'Yaku Fairy' $18.00 pale yellow flowers in mid-spring. A choice rock garden or container specimen. Easy and hardy in the garden.

Of all the fantastic big-leaf species in cultivation, this is one of the best all- around garden plants. Easy to grow in light shade, this species has large Rhododendron macabeanum $21.00 rounded leaves with a whitish to buff woolly indumentum on the lower surface. Large and showy yellow flowers, usually with a purple blotch.

Fragrant large trumpet-shaped white flowers in early summer and shiny foliage with a robust growth habit. This form has very glossy foliage and a Rhododendron maddenii ssp. crassum $17.00 strong yellow blotch in the throat of the flower. The hardiest form of the species that I have seen and among the best for foliage.

Varying in form, this dwarf is generally compact with its small, fragrant leaves Rhododendron russatum $21.00 and small deep purple- blue to pink-lavender flowers. Blooms in mid-late spring. Grows 3' in 10 years in full sun to part shade.

One of the most impressive species in the genus. This big-leaf has the largest leaves of any rhododendron. Quite extraordinary as a foliage plant - with Rhododendron sinogrande $29.00 correspondingly large cream to pale yellow flowers and a crimson blotch. These are grown from hand-pollinated seed produced here in the RSBG.

An as yet un-identified species from a poorly explored region that may well Rhododendron Subsection Maddenia B $11.00 be a new species. Large white flowers and hairy foliage. Smooth and peeling bark. An evergreen with elliptic deep green leaves. These have a thin but Rhododendron wallichii $16.00 dark brown indumentum on their lower surface, very shiny on the upper. Bell- shaped dark lavender flowers in early spring. One of the finest, easiest and most attractive of all species. Rounded leaves, bronzy new growth and delicate rose, bell-shaped flowers on this form from Rhododendron williamsianum $17.00 the collection at Caerhays. Easy in sun or shade and relatively drought tolerant once established, this is one of the best and most ornamental of all species for general garden use.

Rhododendron hybrids Stunning two-toned purple flowers in tight trusses grace this remarkable evergreen . The upper of each flower is nearly covered by a large deep-purple blotch and long white protrude from the center. Rhododendron 'Abe Arnott' $25.00 The overall appearance is almost orchid-like. Masses of dark rose-pink flowers are borne in large trusses on this mid-sized (6’ tall and wide) evergreen rhododendron. A hybrid of R. griersonianum and Rhododendron 'Anna Rose Whitney' $29.00 R . ‘Countess of Derby’. Full to part sun. Best with afternoon shade, even moisture, and well-drained acidic soil. Stunning dwarf evergreen with widely funnel shaped red flowers in late Rhododendron 'Belva's Joy' $23.00 spring. Long, dark green, glossy leaves have white to tan indumentum beneath. Grows 3' in 10 years forming a dense mound. This is an original Rothschild hybrid (cinnabarinum Roylei Group x ambiguum ) that, due to the ambiguum in its parentage, is considered one of Rhododendron 'Biskra' $19.00 the hardiest of the cinnabarinum hybrids. A beautiful plant bearing clusters of large, hanging and waxy, vermilion bells in late spring.

Noted for the striking dark purple splotch on the upper petal, this peaceful evergreen rhododendron will be covered in rich pink-purple flowers in late Rhododendron 'Black Eye' $27.00 spring. The flower buds have a unique appearance and a light coating of indumentum. Grows 5-8’ and can take full sun, though some afternoon shade is probably best. Even moisture and well-drained acidic soil.

Astonishing, large burgundy wine colored flowers in April-May. Very dark Rhododendron 'Black Sport' $27.00 green foliage. Easy to grow and great for a screening hedge. Grows wider than tall and 5' in 10 years.

With wonderful lavender flowers marked by violet edges and a deep purple blotch, this evergreen rhododendron will stand out against the standard Rhododendron 'Blue Jay' $23.00 pinks and reds. A medium-sized plant (5’ tall and wide) that can take full sun from a selected R. ponticum seedling. Best with afternoon shade, even moisture, and well-drained acidic soil.

Considered one of the best, if not the best, form of this deservedly widely- Rhododendron 'Blue Tit Magor' $17.00 grown hybrid (impeditum x augustinii ). A tough and hardy selection with masses of rich violet-blue flowers late in the season.

Tolerant of full sun, this hybrid evergreen blooms in April. Dazzling large Rhododendron 'Bodacious' $27.00 flowers have pale pink with a magenta rim and yellow throat. Grows 5- 10' in 10 years.

Deep yellow flowers on a compact plant with peeling bark and densely scaly Rhododendron burmanicum hybrid $19.00 leaves. Hardy to about 15 F. Shiny, small, rounded evergreen leaves are stunning with the pink-red Rhododendron 'Cherry Drops' $14.00 flowers showering this azalea. Will likely bloom multiple times a year. Great in a rock garden as a mounding shrub. Grows up to 3'.

A dwarf (to 1’) shrub with bright true yellow flowers, rare in evergreen rhododendron, that crowd the plant obscuring the foliage below in spring. The leaves are small and leathery, covered in small scales and dark green but Rhododendron 'Chikor' $25.00 turning bronze-red in the winter. Requires excellent drainage and plenty of sunlight. A cross of R. rupicola var. chryseum and R. ludlowii hybridized by Peter Cox. A beautiful little plant perfect for a rock garden.

One of the hardier of the maddenia hybrids, this is cinnabarinum x maddenii Rhododendron 'Cinncrass' B $12.00 ssp. crassum . This RHS Award of Merit winner (1935) has creamy white flowers flushed rose.

Glorious deep, rich purple trusses with a dark blotch. Dark green evergreen Rhododendron 'Colonel Coen' $25.00 foliage with deep veins. Grows 5' in 10 years in part shade to full sun.

Just like a daybreak, the flowers on this evergreen rhododendron are all shades of soft pale yellow and orange. A faint peach rings the edges of the Rhododendron 'Dappled Dawn' $23.00 petals and a prominent orange-yellow blotch, like the sun itself, marks the upper petal. Grows to 4’ tall and wide. Another fine semi-dwarf hybrid (minus Carolinianum Group x leucaspis ) Rhododendron 'Eider' $14.00 from the Glendoick “Bird Series”. This has long-lasting pure white flowers in a compact truss, highlighted by black anthers in early to mid-spring.

Elegant dwarf rhody. Scarlet-red funnel shaped flowers burst in a loose truss Rhododendron 'Elizabeth' $25.00 from this small shrub in April. May rebloom in late summer. Dark green foliage. Grows 4' in 10 years.

Eclectic dwarf evergreen rhody with bright red flowers in May. New growth is Rhododendron 'Elizabeth Red Foliage' $27.00 burgundy in spring. Leaves with thick cinnamon indumentum below. Grows 3' in 10 years.

This is a new and highly sought after hybrid from Ken Cox of Glendoick. This low-growing and compact plant has leaves that are dark reddish-purple and Rhododendron 'Everred' $29.00 shiny on both surfaces – stunning. The dark red-purple flowers are rather sparsely produced but quite attractive when they appear. Outstanding openly funnel shaped clusters of pale yellow flowers with a purple-red, frilly rim. Nectaries, style, , and throat flecks are deep Rhododendron 'Fire Rim' $23.00 red. Leaves are 5" long with wavy edges. Evergreen and grows to a dense mound of 3' in 10 years. It is much more compact in habit with very large and colorful, white flushed Rhododendron 'Fragrantissimum Improved' $19.00 pink flowers. These have a yellow flush in the throat and are extremely fragrant. An evergreen azalea growing 3-5’ tall and wide. The small leaves are tightly packed on this compact plant which will be covered in deep fuchsia-colored flowers in spring. New leaf color is a light green that contrasts well with the Rhododendron 'Girard's Fuchsia' $19.00 old darker green leaves. This is a hand-pollination done here at the RSBG utilizing maoerense for its large and intensely colored deep lavender pink flowers combined with our Rhododendron 'maoerense x griffithianum' $18.00 hardiest form of griffithianum in an attempt to develop and good solid pink and relatively hardy “Loderi”-type.

A strange and beautiful evergreen rhododendron. Flowers in different shades of orange are held on long pedicles that result in them hanging more or less face down. The leaves are long and narrow with a shiny dark green surface and fawn indumentum below. These plants have a tropic look to them but Rhododendron 'Medusa' $29.00 are just as winter hardy as most other rhododendron. A cross of R. dichroanthum ssp. scyphocalyx and R. griersonianum . 3-4’ tall and wide. Full to part sun. Best with afternoon shade, even moisture, and well-drained acidic soil. A heat tolerant species with very narrow, fine-textured foliage.

The best form of this always lovely species. Large, deep yellow, highly Rhododendron luteum 'Golden Comet' $16.00 fragrant flowers in mid-spring. Bright red fall foliage color. Easy in sun or light shade. Cold and heat tolerant, this selection is resistant to powdery mildew. The west coast native deciduous azalea. This variable species has large showy Rhododendron occidentale $13.00 fragrant flowers in early summer. They range from white to white with yellow or pink. Bright fall foliage color. A long cultivated and beautiful old Japanese hybrid with bits of kiusianum Rhododendron x obtusum 'Amoenum' $15.00 and kaempferi and who knows what else in its genes. Vivid magenta flowers in mid-spring on a dense-growing evergreen azalea

This is similar to the familiar ‘Linearifolium’ but has normal sized, very fuzzy Rhododendron stenopetalum 'Kochozodoi' $19.00 leaves and the floral petals are quite a bit wider and are an unusual, but very distinct and attractive, creamy-green with a pink stain at the base.

A very distinct and deservedly popular evergreen azalea. The long and Rhododendron stenopetalum 'Linearifolium' $17.00 narrow, hairy leaves are matched by the similarly-shaped lavender petals of the flowers in mid-spring. An amazing foliage plant.
