Socio-Economic Mitigation • With support from the Government of Russia and the Government of Japan, in partnership with the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, UNDP has provided 323 units of up-to-date sewing and IT equipment, furniture and other technical tools for the winners of the Integrated Business Support programme in 5 . UNDP also ran trainings and masterclasses to expand employment and income generation abilities for vulnerable people, particularly women and youth. As a result, 34 small and medium enterprises (where 67% of staff are women) received technical support. It’s also expected that 187 new job places will be created.
