Business Objectives & Strategy Objectives With an experienced management team and advisory board, Bergerac Wine Holdings seeks to : • Build solid, international sales channels particularly in USA, China/Asia and UK • Develop EU markets – Bergerac airport flights (826 – UK, 504 – France, 54 – Belgium, 117 – Holland) • Acquire under-valued, bespoke properties (due to France’s agricultural and vintner depression) • Benefit from lower cost production, through production economies of scale • Build up Bergerac brand recognition with marketing economies of sale and social media marketing • Work with local French government (SAFER et al.) to promote Bergerac vis-a-vis Bordeaux. • Deploy capital to boost production of grapes through new technology and more efficient viticulture • Convert properties to create a ultratravel/de luxe hotel chain for “top-end” wine tourism • Blend tasteful sculptures and artwork with natural settings to enhance ambience and tourism appeal (see overleaf) • Use tasteful luxury chateau settings for periodic auctioning of collector art, as displayed on site October-16 5 II. Management Team & Biographies Management of Bergerac Wine Holdings PLC Comte Laurent de Bosredon (Honorary Chairman) Laurent is from a long-standing Bergerac wine family, and has inherited/managed Chateau Belingard for over 30 years. He is a renowned spokesperson for the region, and a highly-regarded oenologist. He is also He is also currently the CEO of the Union Interprofessionelle des Vins de Beregrac et Duras (UIVBD), and spent 10 years as the Chairman of the Professional Union between the Bordeaux Wines Committee and the South- West France Vineyards (Conseil Regional des Vins D'Aquitaine). He has an IEP in Political Studies from Bordeaux University and a M.Sc. –Economic Analysis from Univ. of Sorbonne, Paris. David Mapley (CEO) Primary responsibility is the execution of the operating and marketing strategy worldwide for the group. David has worked in finance worldwide, In London, Tokyo, Hong Kong/Singapore, Sydney, Toronto, New York and Switzerland. In recent years he has been engaged in angel investing in award winning start-up companies on the East Coast USA. David now runs a green energy company from UK and Switzerland. He has B.Sc.(Econ.) - Finance, M.Sc. – Op. Research from London School of Economics, M.B.A from Univ. of Chicago Alan Hayter (Finance Director) Primary responsibility is the execution of the financial strategy worldwide for the group. Alan is currently and continues as Head of Finance, Aggregates & Asphalt - South for Tarmac, the leading UK building & road surfacing materials company, a post he has held for over 5 years. Alan, based in the UK, has spent his career in Finance, serving as Director or Financial Controller in a number of UK companies. Alan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, has a B.Sc. in Economics & Accounting from Bristol University, and is also is a long-term property owner in France, including the adjoining region to Bergerac, near Limoges. Alice Bellocq (Administration, France) Alice has extensive experience in Publicity and Communication at 3M Company. She has managed, throughout Europe, various Sale fairs and has promoted the image and brands of many products. Alice will be a great asset in building up our new wine brands and promote them worldwide. Alice is based in Bergerac and is a French national with international corporate sales and branding experience. She has also worked at the Council of Europe at the Press Department and brings further networking connections at the European level. Alice trained in Art history and Communication. Zane Elksnite Grants (Sales & Marketing ,Art Curator) Zane is responsible for curating sculpture gardens, acquiring fine art objects, managing all fine art transactions and collection care for properties at Bergerac Wines Holding. She has extensive experience overseeing & growing private art collections. Zane is the founder & partner at Ambassade d’Art, a firm representing HNW collectors in Europe, the United States and Asia. She negotiates private sales & deals with the world’s top auction houses & galleries, works with commissioning artists directly for site-specific projects. Zane has EU and US nationality. October-16 7 III. Management Team & Biographies Marc Aram(Asia Business Development, China) Marc’s responsibilities include business and partnership development for the group in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Bergerac, Marc held positions at premium cosmetics, interior design and watch brands in Europe and Asia and will, in parallel, continue to promote these Swiss Luxury products actively through his Shanghai based office. Marc holds a MSc in Luxury Marketing and Branding form Yonsei University, Seoul. Advisors Andy Healey (US Wine Distribution) Andy Healey, a UK national, has worked his whole career in wine distribution in the US. He has a wealth of knowledge of sales channels, particularly in the New York and New England areas, and has worked with European focused wine distributors in recent years. Tim Mapley (Social Media) Tim Mapley’s responsibility is for BWH's Social Media Marketing, through his international firm Blackridge Marketing, based in North America and Switzerland. Susan Farewell (Ultratravel) Susan Farewell is the Founder and CEO of Farewell Travels LLC, a travel concierge for discerning travelers.
