URBAN DESIGN AND PLACEMAKING

Our role as urban designers is defined by a responsibility to local places and people: we are committed to the creation of beautiful, vibrant and connected communities. As practitioners of sustainable placemaking, our designs aspire to be restorative, supporting social cohesion, ecological health and economic prosperity.

Honouring the traditions of great urbanism, our design approach is collaborative, creative, local and premised on technical excellence.

OUR EXPERTISE As skilled facilitators, we base our practice in the collaborative design process. We engage deeply with clients and communities to: identify challenges and opportunities, explore shared values and build trust. We co-create solutions and build capacity through collaborative design.

OUR PRACTICE As physical designers, we are fluent across a range of professions, including architecture, landscape architecture, planning and engineering. We practice urban design as a means to thoughfully fuse together the many technical elements in service of sustainable placemaking. We draw on decades of professional experience and leverage local knowledge, best practices and emerging innovations.
