And last but not least, the loss of such a good person and someone who had so much to look forward to in both football and life, Justin you may be gone but you won’t 7 CLUB NEWS TODAY’S MASCOTS NEW LEAGUE SPONSOR On Monday 8th July 2019, the Isthmian League announced a new sponsor for the 2019/20 season. The new sponsors of the Isthmian League will be BetVictor. Sponsorship will run for 2 years, with BetVictor also sponsoring the Northern Premier and Southern Leagues. NEW KICK OFF TIME This evening we welcome two teams as our FOR CHELMSFORD official match day mascots. Firstly, pictured above, we have our U8’s. We also have Leaside Colts returning who have been mascots on occasions in the past. We hope both teams enjoy your evening with us. If you are interested for your local kid’s team to become mascots for the day, please speak to anyone from the Supporters’ Association community team. This package is completely free for the kids Our home pre season fixture with National with the adults only required to pay the League South outfit Chelmsford City on general admission on the day of the game. Saturday 20th July has been brought forward to a 2pm kick off time. For further details, please email us on hfcsa@ hornchurchfc.com Gates will be open at 12pm as per usual and the bar will open throughout. 8 TINA HUNT Everyone at Hornchurch Football Club was devastated to hear the passing of Tina Hunt over the summer. Tina was the heart and soul on a match day with her delightful humour and sales techniques for programmes and 50/50’s. Tina will be sorely missed by everyone and it won’t be the same on match days. Our deepest sympathies go to Ken and the family during this sad time. RIP Tina x URCHINS TO PLAY CANVEY ISLAND OR HULLBRIDGE # SOCIAL MEDIA Last played in 2008/09 the Essex Thameside Challenge @CharlieSidgwick Trophy has been re-launched ahead of the 2019/20 season. Have to wait all day to find out we Twenty teams will compete in this year’s competition.
