Elenco Biografico Dei Soci Dell'accademia Delle
ELENCO BIOGRAFICO DEI SOCI DELL’ACCADEMIA DELLE SCIENZE 1757-2020 aggiornamento del 28-02-2021 Nel 1973 l’Accademia pubblicò nell’«Annuario» un Dizionario biografico dei Soci dell’Accademia, un elenco di tutti i Soci eletti dal 1757, con le notizie che su di essi l’Archivio dell’Accademia possedeva (in particolare i dati di elezione desunti dai verbali manoscritti). Nel Dizionario alcuni Soci erano indicati con il solo cognome (e in taluni casi esso era riportato in maniera errata sia per motivi di difficile lettura degli originali manoscritti sia per effettivi errori di trascrizione dei nomi stranieri). Il Dizionario è poi stato la base che ha permesso nel corso degli anni di costruire la pagina dei Soci storici sul sito web istituzionale, un repertorio di quasi 3.000 nomi. Nel 2020 con l’avvio del progetto Wikipediano in residenza , condotto grazie a una collaborazione con Wikimedia Italia, l’elenco dei Soci dell’Accademia delle Scienze è stato completamente rivisto, aggiornato e integrato. Questo elenco è uno dei frutti di questo lavoro di revisione e intende porsi come uno strumento parallelo alla consultazione del sito web. In alcuni casi potrebbero esserci incongruenze, imprecisioni e aggiornamenti che intendiamo fare via via grazie anche alle segnalazioni che ci verranno inviate (per e-mail alla biblioteca: [email protected]). In ogni caso l’elemento più aggiornato sarà sempre il sito stesso, ma ancor di più wikidata che essendo strumento di conoscenza collettiva e compartecipata vede migliorare i propri dati di giorno in giorno grazie a quello spirito di crescita del sapere che le è proprio. -

Després d’un breu recordatori de la seva biografia, ens centrem en els seus treballs sobre evolutes de corbes a l’espai i sobretot en el naixement de les línies de curvatura en un article dedicat al transport de terres. Analitzem en detall el full xv de les seves famoses Feuilles d’analyse i fem un breu comentari de la resta dels seus treballs sobre geometria diferencial. Intentaré donar una visió resumida de la seva vida i obra centrant-me, però, només en els treballs de geometria diferencial, ja que l’obra global de Monge és immensa i abraça des de la química, a la meteorologia, la mecànica, etc. Gaspard Monge (1746–1818). 112 Agustí Reventós A Monge se’l pot considerar, juntament amb Euler i Gauss, com el funda- dor de la geometria diferencial de corbes i superfícies. També se’l considera creador de la teoria de derivades parcials de segon ordre, que ell sempre es- tudiava lligades a problemes geomètrics, però que han tingut posteriorment tanta importància en altres camps. -
The Man Who Invented Descriptive Geometry

Stojićević Gaspard Monge is known as the father of modern descriptive and Assistant Professor differential geometry. In 1764, he was engaged to draw a detailed plan of University of Belgrade Faculty of Mechanical Engineering a fortification in his hometown, which was seen by an officer at the École Royale du Génie de Mézières. This plan was a success and his techniques Hellmuth Stachel were marked as a military secret for a long period of time. In 1780, he was Professor Emeritus elected to the Academy of Science and participated in the work of the Technische Universität Wien Commission for Weights and Measures, that was in charge of moving the Institut für Diskrete Mathematik und system from imperial to metric. In 1794, Monge helped setting up the Geometrie Austria École Centrale des Travaux Publics (later École Polytechnique) where he was lecturing Descriptive Geometry. In 1798, Napoleon undertook a Rodoljub G. Milićević campaign in Egypt. The famous chemist Claude Louis Berthollet was asked BSc, Student of Final Course of Master to recruit prominent scientists. Among them were Fourier, Monge, Studies Dolomieu and Malus. Institut d’Egypte was established by Napoleon and University of Belgrade Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Monge was named as its first president. Monge passed away on July 28, 1818. His name is inscribed on the base of the Eiffel Tower and it is Branislav D. located on the third façade opposite the Military Academy. Besides Popkonstantinović descriptive geometry, he carried on many different researches in chemistry Full Professor and physics. -
