Flinders awarded prestigious Fulbright Distinguished Chair in American Political Science

The Australian-American Fulbright Commission has selected Flinders University, in Adelaide, South Australia, to host the prestigious Fulbright Distinguished Chair in American Political Science, following a national, competitive selection process. Flinders University, as a co-sponsor, will host the Chair for five years from 2011.

Through the Chair, distinguished US Scholars will be based at Flinders, to undertake collaborative research into key political issues affecting both countries, and also undertake a national lecture tour. This Distinguished Chair was established in 2005 by the Australian-American Fulbright Commission and The Australian National University, and ANU is the current host for 2005-2010.
