Over the course of six full-length albums, DANKO JONES has forged a singular sound that draws equally from the blues, ‘60s garage, ‘70s hard rock, ‘80s hardcore, punky power-pop, Scandinavian metal, and classic stand-up comedy records without ever being fully defined by any of those sources. Sedan Linnros slog igenom med hiphopduon Snook för sex år sedan har han varit ett återkommande inslag på den svenska musikhimlen. I fjol debuterade han som soloartist med albumet Vilja Bli som sålde guld och singeln Från och med du blev en av årets mest spelade låtar. Linnros hann belönas med två Rockbjörnar och tilldelas pris som textförfattare innan året var slut. Nu väljer Linnros att fortsätta i en ny riktning. Danko Jones den 2 september Det kanadensiska rockbandet Danko Jones har skaffat sig en trogen publik i Sverige tack vare välkomponerad rock och explosiva livespelningar på bland annat Hultsfredsfestivalen. Bandet grundades 1996 och har sedan dess hunnit släppa fem studioalbum. Det senaste albumet Below the Belt släpptes i maj 2010 och innehåller 11 spår med klassisk Danko Jones-rock. Bandmedlemmarna utgörs av sångaren Danko Jones, basisten John Calabrese och trummisen Atom Willard.
