Rihanna Concert at Emirates Old Trafford Important information Rihanna will be performing at Emirates Old Trafford as part of her ANTI World Tour on Wednesday 29 June. DOOR TIMES Doors open at 4pm. The show gets underway at 6pm with support acts Big Sean and DJ Mustard. Rihanna will be on stage at 8:30pm. We are one of six UK venues for the tour. TICKETS Tickets are currently on sale via www.livenation.com TICKET PRICES AND CHARGES Standard tickets: £75 (plus £8 per ticket service charge) and £55 (plus £6.75 per ticket service charge) POSTAGE Seats have a £3.45 per transaction charge General admission tickets have a £5.50 per transaction charge The £1 per ticket donation is added on top of these charges. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS I’VE GOT MY TICKET HOW DO I ENTER THE VENUE? Please use the gate allocated on your ticket for entering the venue. Once inside the venue you have a number of options depending on the type of ticket you have purchased. I HAVE A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET. WHERE CAN I WATCH THE CONCERT FROM? General admission tickets give you access to the standing area on the pitch. Stands A and B Lower also have seats that are available to General Admission ticket holders on a first come, first served basis. MY TICKET HAS A ROW AND SEAT NUMBER. WHERE SHOULD I GO? Your seats will be located in B, C, or E Stand. Please follow the signage once you get into the venue to get to your seat – or ask a steward who will be able to point you to the right direction. WHERE ARE THE WHEELCHAIR PLATFORMS LOCATED? Wheelchair platforms are located in front of the Red Rose Suite. Tickets for fans with disabilities are only being sold by Ticketmaster via 0800 988 4440. The will be a short delay at the end of the concert for safety reasons to allow the crowd to disperse. WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR AMBULANT DISABLED? Ambulant disabled tickets are available via the same Ticketmaster telephone number – 0800 988 4440. Proof of disability will be required and this can be any of the following: statement of high, medium or low mobility/living allowance as issued by the DWP I HAVE A BLUE BADGE, WHERE CAN I PARK? Blue badge parking will be made available as close as possible to the venue. Please note this is strictly for Blue Badge holders only and there will be no exceptions to this rule. An enhanced dedicated bus service running post-concert from Talbot Road to the City Centre costs £3.00. These are in addition to the replacement Metrolink buses as detailed in the below links. There will be no parking at Emirates Old Trafford but parking priced at £12 will be available nearby at Manchester United FC. For SatNav users please use the postcode M16 0RA. Spaces can be booked in advance by visiting: http://manunitedcarparking.co.uk/events . Please note that Tesco Extra Stretford will be ‘drop-off’ and ‘pick-up’ only. There is no parking available at this facility. ANPR will be in operation at this car park. TRAVEL Check out our directions section to see how to get Emirates Old Trafford. Set your SatNav for Manchester United FC as some of the roads around Emirates Old Trafford at Lancashire CCC will be closed and this is the nearest accessible landmark. MUFC’s postcode is M16 0RA. There will be road closures affecting the concert as detailed below. ROAD CLOSURES The roads around the venue (Brian Statham Way, Great Stone Road, Warwick Road and part of Talbot Road at the front of the ground) will have closures in place during the concert. Brian Statham Way will be closed for the duration of the event, Talbot Road and Great Stone Road will be closed at the end of the event to ensure safe transit of spectators. There will be a diversion signposted via White City Way to Chester Road to bypass the event zone. The closed roads will be opened again when it is deemed safe. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE CONCERTS? Yes, although we do ask spectators to seriously consider the type of event when deciding to bring children. Children under 14 years of age will only be admitted if accompanied by an adult and all children must be in possession of a valid ticket. WHO ARE THE SUPPORT ACTS? US rapper Big Sean and DJ Mustard will be joining Rihanna for the European dates. CAN I BRING FOOD AND DRINK? No food or drink will be permitted into the venue but there will be a wide range of refreshments that are available inside the venue. If any specific food is needed for special dietary requirements a doctor’s note will be requested. WILL I GET SEARCHED? All persons will be searched in line with the procedures in place for your safety. For a list of prohibited items please see Clause 7 under Conditions of Entry here. We strongly advised you to minimize the number of items you bring as this will speed up your entry. Any prohibited items found will be confiscated and you may be refused entry. CAN I BRING IN AN UMBRELLA? Unfortunately not. Umbrellas are on the list of prohibited items for safety reasons and so they don’t block the viewing of the concerts for your fellow fans. We therefore advise you to pay particular attention to the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the expected conditions. CAN I GET INTO A BAR THAT IS INDOORS? Only if you are in receipt of a specified wristband. These are only available to hospitality patrons and guests. WHAT TIME DOES THE CONCERT FINISH? The concert will be finished by 10.30pm prompt. CAN I MEET THE ARTIST? It is very unlikely as every year we are inundated with requests from fans of the featured artistes. Please feel free to write to the promoters, Live Nation, who will forward any letters to the band’s record company but we reiterate that it is very unlikely, the band receive thousands of requests for each venue. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS? All tickets are sent out two weeks before the concert. Please call the agent you originally purchased your tickets from if you do not receive them. ARE THERE ATMS ON SITE? There are a number of ATMs on site but they will incur a charge. Please note there will be no pass-outs once you have entered the ground. RIHANNA MERCHANDISE There will be a number of merchandise outlets located inside the venue. We would advise against purchasing any unofficial merchandise outside the venue.
