At the tender age of 19, he has quickly established himself as one of the Spotify Streams industry’s most exciting young talents, and was crowned the Middle East’s Emerging Talent after a series of powerful performances across the region. With a voice beyond his years, Hasan's infatuation with soul music is a consequence of his admiration for renowned artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Alicia Keys and John Legend.     32nd Edition HILL TOP NEWS December 2011 A Newsletter from St John’s Business & Enterprise College Fashion and Variety Show just keeps getting better and better SCHOOL DETAILS The 6th St John’s Fashion and Variety Show opened to a capacity crowd on Thursday 8th PRINCIPAL: December . For one night only the talented pupils across the year groups entertained the audience Ms C Doherty with a packed show of fashion, singing, dancing and comedy acts. The crowds that braved the cold SCHOOL ADDRESS: night were met on their arrival by ten pupils playing the African drums in the foyer. Through the Extended Schools’ Programme the pupils had attended six weeks of drumming classes with Ronan 37 Omagh Road Mc Kee in preparation for this night. The show’s opening act Willy Wonka was performed by Year Dromore 10 pupils, directed by Miss Bradley, followed by an African Dream Dance choreographed by dance Co Tyrone instructor, Aideen Shannon. BT 78 3AL The first half as always featured the Year 12 boys and girls in their formal wear. The girls glittered in their gowns escorted down the catwalk by the boys in their tuxs as proud Telephone: 02882 898284 parents looked on. Year 8 Pupils had designed and made their own lanterns from paper and willow SCHOOL CLOSINGS kindly donated by Gavin Winters, Dromore, and were accompanied by our School Choir with a selection of Christmas songs. Dromore’s “Strictly Come Dancing 2011” winners gave the crowd a Christmas Holidays stunning look at their dance which won them the title. Alannah Quinn amazed the crowd with her Thursday 22nd December rendition of “Suds in the Bucket” followed by Shannon Barrett and the traditional group singing to Wednesday 4th January “Rattlin Bog”.
