It is our goal to continually improve and modify the course as conditions and regulations dictate, and to keep the cost to the attendee as affordable as possible. In closing, I would like to thank all those folks who have supported and donated to CFF over the years, and to encourage those who don’t have CFF on their “radar screen” to thoughtfully consider CFF when assessing their charitable giving. We are a 501-C3 charitable organiza- tion, making your donation fully tax deductible as provided by law. We do not have an income stream other than the earnings derived from investment of the original grants that created CFF, and the donations that come in from Comanche people and others who recognize the value CFF has to offer. We have been operating the CPPP training at a loss in an effort to continue to present the program at an affordable rate, and will continue to do so as long as we are able. We welcome input from all ICS members and Comanche pilots. If you have a thought, suggestion, or passing fancy that you feel would be appropriate for CFF, please send it along; it will be thoughtfully and gratefully considered. 42 • Comanche Flyer OCTOBER 2015 PILOT’S OPERATING HANDBOOK AND FAA APPROVED AIRPLANE FLIGHT MANUAL “Formerly Published And Produced by the late Douglas L. Killough”

Piper Aircraft ceased production of the Comanche and Twin Comanche in 1972, several years before the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) established specifications for the contemporary Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH). As a result, the Owner’s Handbook published by Piper is incomplete by modern standards. Now available EXCLUSIVELY from the INTERNATIONAL COMANCHE SOCIETY, INC., through it’s licensed agents, is the upgraded Pilot’s Operating Handbook and FAA approved GAMA format Airplane Flight Manual.

Discounted to current ICS members at $75.00 each, plus shipping (must ask for ICS member discount and provide ICS membership number when placing order). Available only through Webco Aircraft at 316-283-7929 or www.webcoaircraft.com. Available Bound or Unbound/Un-punched.

There are SIXTEEN different GAMA format manuals available for the Piper Single and Twin Comanche. Please order your manual by “Manual Number 1-16” from the chart below.
