As the President of People for Life in Erie County , Tim Broderick explained, “We try to take the message where people can be found who are not likely to walk into a pro-life organization’s office, to visit a pro-life website, or hear a pro-life sermon in church; such as a rib fest, maybe a wine fest, a pumpkin fest, a fire company carnival, or maybe a county fair.” Broderick continued, “We want to put the pro-life cause exactly where it belongs — in the cen - ter of the community, in the public square, in the ‘real world.’ We want to help ‘mainstream’ the pro-life cause
