“FOR the DEMENTED” Die Kanadischen Trash Metal Helden Veröffentlichen Ihr 16Tes Studioalbum Am 3 Neues Studioalbum “FOR THE DEMENTED” Die kanadischen Trash Metal Helden veröffentlichen ihr 16tes Studioalbum am 3. November 2017 Neverland Music/Silver Lining Music/ ADA Seit 1989 haben ANNIHILATOR ständig Alben veröffentlicht und touren erfolgreich die Welt. Jeff Waters und seine (jeweiligen) Mannen sind eine Konstante im Bereich des Heavy Metal / Thrash Metal und haben vielgelobte Klassiker auf den Markt gebracht und dies bereits seit dem Debut Album “Alice In Hell”, (1990), “Never, Neverland” (1995) “King of The Kill” oder “Schizo Deluxe” (2005) bis hin zur 2015‐er Veröffentlichung “Suicide Society.” ANNIHILATOR ist Jeff Waters, und er beschreibt seinen Stil: “Meine Musik wurde von Hunderten meiner Lieblingsbands und Musiker beeinflusst, man kann die Einflüsse erkennen, wenn man sich den ANNIHILATOR Backkatalog durchhört. Es ist ein Bonus und eine Ehre wenn Bands, die ich bewundere dann auch noch sagen, ich hatte etwas mit ihrer Spielweise zu tun oder war gar die Inspiration zu einem Song!” „Bei diesem Album war es für mich an der Zeit zu analysieren, was mir die Fans über die Jahre erzählt haben. Es war auch an der Zeit nachzudenken, warum die frühen ANNIHILATOR“thrash‐meets‐melodic”‐ Songs vielen ins Ohr gegangen sind. Natürlich ist es klar, dass ich nicht allein zurück gegangen bin und mich durch die ANNIHILATOR Historie gewühlt habe. Mein Bassist der letzten Jahre, Rich Hinks, hat mir dabei sehr geholfen. “For The Demented” ist back to the roots, ohne dass ich es wirklich gemerkt habe, sagt Waters nicht ohne Stolz. Alles zusammengefasst kann man sagen, dass dieses Album die beste ANNIHILATOR Erfahrung seit Jahren ist und die Fans können das erwarten, was sie sich von ANNIHILATOR erhoffen.     biography D.D. Verni is an American bassist, songwriter, and producer, best known for his work with the band OVERKILL. Overkill released their first record in 1985 and with their contemporaries (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax) helped define a new genre of music, “thrash metal”. Overkill have released D.D. VERNI 18 full-length albums as well as two live albums and EPs, and several DVDs. D.D. Verni released his first solo album, “Barricade”, in October of 2018. The record, which was mixed and mastered by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (ROB ZOMBIE, QUEENSRŸCHE, HATEBREED), is a mix of all of Verni’s influences. “There’s some metal, punk, and classic rock... it’s all in there, from QUEEN to GREEN DAY to METALLICA, I think we covered all the basses!” declares D.D. Although I think that creating writers’ calendars is the ultimate in self-indulgence I suppose it can be argued that it does exercise my brain. And as I am hopeless at crossword puzzles but don’t want my brain to turn into mush … here we go round the mulberry bush and Pop! goes the weasel, once more. I wonder who wrote that rhyme? At a guess I would say that wonderful author Anon but now I will go and see if I can answer my question and I might be back tomorrow to write something more profound.
