Silva was born in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. Silva's parents are both Summer Break Portuguese American teachers. In 1997 Silva left CNN to pursue Sunday – Closed writing full-time. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday - 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Since then Silva has written 20 more spy novels, all best-sellers on The New York Wednesday 8:30 am – 7:00 pm Times list.
