She lived on Arliss St. for 30 years but is now living in Riverside at an assisted care facility according to her daughter. The photo above was taken in 2011. I enjoyed my visits with her when she lived in Highgrove and she enjoyed talking about the good old days. I am going to try and visit her on her birthday, if possible. She is a sweet lady and all of us from Highgrove wish her a Happy Birthday. Helen was born on Oct. 8, 1908.

Played to the tune of “Love and Marriage” & “Billy Boy” the origi- nal tunes were performed by their friends in St. George. They have been married 67 years. It was the highlight of the afternoon where family and friends gathered together to enjoy seeing many of Dorothy’s quilts and paintings displayed and Bill’s geneology books and many old Indiana farm and family photos. They lived in Highgrove on Michigan Ave. from 1955 to 1990. They had 4 children Donald, Linda, Sue and Cindy who all attended Highgrove El- ementary School and North High School. Bill worked at A. M. Lewis for 31 years and retired in 1986, Dorothy worked at Harris Co. in Riverside from 1963 to 1973, and they moved to St. George, Utah in 1992.
