Beverly Hills, California – (November 21, 2014) – Julien’s Auctions, the auction house to the stars, announced the Collection of Loni Anderson auction event as part of the highly-anticipated Icons & Idols: Hollywood auction to take place at the Julien’s Auctions Beverly Hills gallery located at 9665 Wilshire Boulevard on Friday, December 5, 2014 and Saturday, December 6, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m. P.S.T.

Actress Loni Anderson is best known for her role as the sexy on the hit series WKRP in Cincinnati (1978-1982) for which she received several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Over the next 3 decades, Ms. Anderson was the star of five additional television series, seven feature films, 18 television movies, and guest starred in dozens of television series and specials.

Burt Reynolds and Loni became a couple in 1981 and married in 1988. They worked together on numerous projects including one live-action film, the 1983 stock car racing comedy, “.” Loni and Burt divorced in 1993.

Highlights of the television icon’s auction event include a “WKRP in Cincinnati” collection of show memorabilia (Estimate: $400-$600), a Loni Anderson owned gemstone cameo necklace by Stephen Dweck (Estimate: $500-$700), violet western accessories gifted to Loni from (Estimate: $300-$500), an FSU opal and diamond Indian Head brooch designed by Burt for Loni (Estimate: $1,500-$3,000), Loni Anderson Turturice ensembles and sketches (Estimate: $800-$1,500), a pair of diamond earrings (Estimate: $14,000-$16,000), a Judith Leiber Rabbit Minaudière (Estimate: $1,000-$2,000), “Sharkey’s Machine” fur coat (Estimate: $800-$,1500), and the first ring Burt Reynolds ever gave to Loni, a garnet and diamond ring (Estimate: $300-$500).

Other highlights of the Collection of Loni Anderson include her wedding ensemble which she wore at her wedding ceremony to actor Burt Reynolds (Estimate: $1,000-$2,000), a sculpture of Burt’s favorite horse “Cat Dancing” handcrafted in clay by Burt, cast in bronze and gifted to Loni (Estimate: $1,500-$3,000), Loni Anderson evening gowns (Estimate: $800- $1,500), the actress’ awards show ensemble (Estimate: $800-$1,500), Loni Anderson Erte necklace (Estimate: $12,000-$14,000), a Loni Anderson diamond necklace (Estimate: $13,000-$15,000), a Vance Larson (American, 1951-2010) multimedia art on canvas of Loni Anderson (Estimate: $1,500-$3,000), a Leroy Niemen “Happy Birthday Mr. President” signed serigraph (Estimate: $1,000-$2,000), Anderson’s 1991 ensemble (Estimate: $800-$1,500), a diamond Panther Quartz wristwatch by Cartier (Estimate: $13,000-$15,000), and much more from her career and personal life.

A special media preview of the Collection of Loni Anderson will take place on Monday, December 1, 2014. Anderson will appear from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. P.S.T. exclusively for media interviews and photographs during the exhibition at Julien’s Auctions gallery in Beverly Hills.
