People tend to expose important documents to various dangers on a daily basis and then wonder how to get it back. The Department of Income Tax made it very easy to get a duplicate PAN card. Let's see how it's done. 2. How to get a duplicate PAN card? It's very easy and easy to get a duplicate of MAP PAN. The application can be submitted to the official website, i.e. TIN-NSDL, or, if in paper form, it must be addressed to the services department of PAN NSDL. Online application of card duplicates saves a lot of time as well as costs. Let's see how this can be done online: a. Visit TIN-NSDL and select the type of application as Changes or Correction of Existing PAN Data/ Reprinting MAP PAN (No changes to existing PAN data). (If your PAN card is lost, misplaced or stolen, you should go with reprinting your PAN card without changing any information.) B. Fill in information that is required and then send it. C. The token number will be generated and sent to your email address, which you provided on the previous page. Please note that the token number for future reference and continue filing. D. Now fill in the information you need on the Personal Data page along with the choice of how to submit your PAN application form. Here are three modes available: i. Application documents forward physically: The confirmation form generated after payment must be printed along with copies of the required documents and must be sent by a registered post to the pan services NSDL. ii. Send digitally via e-KYC and electronic sign (paperless) : Aadhaar is a must-use of this option, and all details given in your aadhaar must be used in the duplicate of the CARD app. OTP will be sent to the registered number aadhaar to verify the authenticity of the details provided. There is no need to upload photos, captions or any other documents. When you submit the final form through this option, you will need a digital signature (DSC) for electronic signature. iii. Send scanned images via an electronic sign : Aadhaar is also a must for this option, but you will have to upload images of scan photos, captions and other documents. Only OTP will verify the authenticity of the application form. E. You then need to choose whether you need a physical PAN card or an e-PAN card. If you opt for a PAN e-card, you must provide a valid email ID. The provided email ID will receive a digital electronic map PAN. F. Next, fill in the details in Contact and other details, Also document the details of the page and apply. G. You will be directed to the payment page, and as soon as the payment is made the recognition will be generated. H. You can check the status of the PAN duplicate with 15 digits the amount generated. J. DUBLICE CARD PAN will be sent within 2 weeks after receiving the application by the department. Now let's see how it's done offline: a. Download and print the Form Request for a new PAN map or/and change or fix in PAN data. B. Use BLOCK letters and empty ink to fill the app. C. Mention your 10-digit PAN for reference. D. If you are an individual applicant, 2 passport size photos must be attached and cross-signed carefully. The face should not be covered when signing. E. Then fill in all the necessary parts in the form and sign the appropriate boxes. F. The application, together with payment, ID, proof of address and confirmation of the PAN, must be sent to the NSDL Assistance Center. Once the payment is received, a printed confirmation form with a 15-digit number is formed. The Assistance Center then sends your application to pan's income tax unit for further action. h. You can check the status of the PAN duplicate with a 15-digit confirmation number. J. DUBLICE CARD PAN will be sent within 2 weeks after receiving the application by the department. 3. When do you need to apply for a duplicate PAN card? A PAN card duplicate can be applied in the following situations: a. Loss/theft: People often carry their PAN cards in their wallets or pockets, you can lose it when there is a theft of a purse/wallet. This is a fairly common reason for multiple applications in the department in India. b. Inappropriate: There are a few instances where people leave a card somewhere and then be unsure of exactly where they kept it. c. Damaged: Reprinting a PAN card is the only solution for any damage to an existing PAN card. Change in information: It is possible that the information and signatures entered during the PAN application change over time. In this case, we have only one solution, i.e. change it and reprint the map with the changed information. 4. Who can apply for a duplicate PAN card? There are different types of taxpayers in India as individual/HUFs/companies. But taxpayers, except individuals, cannot file their own PAN card application. All taxpayers, except individuals, are required to have an authorized signatory to apply. The list for authorized signatories are: Category Taxpayer Authorized Individual Self HUF Karta by HUF Any Director (s) Company Firm /Limited Responsibility Partnership (LLP) Any Partner (s) Firm / AOP LLP (s) / Body of Individuals /Association of Persons (s)/Local Management/Artificial Legal Entity Commissioner How do I duplicate A PAN cards? The Income Tax Act does not allow more than one account numbers. Account. Chances are that you may get more than one PAN card with the same number or different numbers. Taxpayers should not worry about this issue. Follow these steps and send a duplicate or incorrect PAN card to the income tax department: a. Write a letter addressed to your appraiser and provide all details such as your full name, date of birth, information about the PAN card that will be saved, and information about the PAN card that will be dealt. B. You can expedite the message of the letter or hand over the same to the appraiser and receive a receipt for recognition. C. Confirmation of receipt is proof that the CART duplicate has been cancelled. 6. Some important points related to the duplication of PAN CARD. a. If you have lost your PAN card as a result of the theft, you must file the FIR at the nearest police station. A copy of the FIR must be sent along with the duplicate documents of the MAP PAN application. B. When you submit a PAN confirmation to a registered post application, you should mention Confirmation No. - (I) - Pan Reprint Application or application for changes or corrections in PAN data at the top of the envelope. C. The application fee is 110 rubles for resident individuals and 1020 rubles for non-resident persons. d. The PAN card will be sent to the address mentioned in aadhaar. The need for a PAN Card duplicate arises in the case of a lost PAN card that is stolen, inappropriate or damaged. The process of applying a PAN Card duplicate begins with the filing of FIR. Once the FIR is submitted, the applicant raises the request for a PAN card by providing a copy of the old PAN CARD and a copy of the FIR. A request for a PAN duplicate or a reprint of the card may be made by the applicant in some specific cases due to losses. In these cases, PAN does not change only the new PAN card. The situation in which there is a need for a duplicate PAN Card, is: Loss or Theft: Many people have a habit of wearing a PAN card in their wallets. There is a possibility of a case of theft of the wallet. PAN Card got out of place: The case of the wrong PAN card is also a very common scenario in which it arises to have a duplicate of THE PAN. Damaged: The PAN card can be damaged for a variety of reasons, in which case it is also used to reprint the PAN Card. Change of information: When a person needs to make adjustments to the PAN Card, requiring a change or reprinting of the PAN Card. How to get a duplicate pan card through online entry to the NSDL website. Choose the apply option online on the page. According to the type of application, choose the change or correction option in existing PAN data or reprint PAN Card. According to the option, choose a suitable option. Then fill in the necessary information: Add 'Captcha code' and check the mention box as you are Indian Click on the Send button.
