All-South Region Player of the Year The Tar Heels reached the 2013 ACC Championship game before falling to Maryland 2-0. Emily Wold UNC had won titles in 2011 and 2012. The 2013 UNC roster includes 12 returning letterwinners, 10 newcomers and three red- All-South Region shirt freshmen. The Tar Heels lost 11 letterwinners from last year’s 23-2 squad, including First Team All-Americas Kelsey Kolojejchick and Caitlin Van Sickle, both now playing for the U.S. Charlotte Craddock National Team. All-ACC Charlotte Craddock Tar Heels vs. Huskies Nina Notman Friday’s game will be the 10th field hockey meeting between North Carolina and Connecti- Emily Wold cut. Hill Sports Complex All-ACC Tournament on Oct. 26, with Carolina winning 2-1.
