Up next for the Tar Heels UNC plays its fifth game of the season and third at home on Friday, hosting Syracuse at Francis E. Henry Stadium. The Tar Heels are 4-0 and ranked No. 1 in this week’s national poll. Syracuse is 5-0 and ranked fifth. Friday’s game is the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both teams. After hosting Syracuse, Carolina takes to the road for its next four games – two in Louisville, Ky., and two in Newton, Mass. The Tar Heels won’t play in Chapel Hill again until Oct. 3, when they host Virginia.
